Was he just being sweet?
HI Im a 14 year old girl and i told a guy I liked him right before graduation. we aren't very good friends but a friend of mine told me "he didnt want to ruin the friendship" and im pretty sure that is just an easy term for the words "i don't like you" but then at the dance two days after my friend told me the news he wouldn't stop convienently running into me and kept walking up to me like he wanted to dance but then would just say something sweet and walk away then he asked me to dance and kissed my hand. Was he just being sweet? Do I have a chance with this guy in high school? Is there a chance that he is thinking about me? And if so in a good way?

Actually on this one im not totally sure. It sounds like he likes you and you like him. Ive changed my mind about liking a gurl before because i wanted to keep our friendship cause that was more important to me. If he likes you make sure he treats you right and dont have sex with him.

well he could either have mixed feelings or he could just be messing with u.... according to his friend he probably has feelings for u and was trying to flirt.... i no it might be hard but just try to talk to him privately and ask him bout the truth...

well, heres what could have happened. you told him that you liked him, right? ok, so right then he might not have liked you, but then he could have started knowing that you liked him, and started thinking about you differently. so he might not have liked you then, but he may like you now. what what i would do is try to talk to him again about it and see if he likes you now.

Yes there is a pretty good chance that that he is thinking about you, if he continues acting this way then he might be interested in you. Just keep an eye open on how he acts around you, flirting etc. Or you could be bold and straight out ask him of what he thinks of you. All depends on what you want to do.

Well it seems to me that this guy is either shy and doesnt want you to know he likes you or he just wants to be good friends with you, im leaning towards he likes you and hes shy and doesnt wanna show it all or tell you, If he kept coming up to you at the dance and than walking away than coming up again and telling you nice stuff than walk away than ask you to dance and kiss your hand sounds like he likes you, he just didnt have the courage to ask you to dance till the end. You have a chance with him, i mean i dont know him or you very much but by the situation at the dance you told me about it seems like he would wanna be with you. Best thing to do is to talk with him about it, be open with him, and if he says he doesnt like you no more than a friend than just move on, theres alot of guys out there im sure you'll find another one, dont let 1 guy get you down cause your just getting into highschool and you will meet plenty of guys just dont give your heart away to a guy unless you can trust him really cause some guys will break your heart, but i have a feeling you a very smart girl and you will make the best choice, plus dont rely on what your friends say cause most time i hear stuff from my friends they are wrong about what they tell me. well its a possiblity that he likes you and is thinking about you. you may have a chance if so. maybe it just took him a little bit to find out he likes you. or theres a chance he might be toying with you but you can never find out if you take a chance. there's a lot to look forward to in highschool..i'm going to highschool as well this year. okay well good luck and i'm sure you'll make the right choice..have fun in highshcool! okay bye bye

I think he has it in for you, he really likes you. I think when you told him you liked him he probally liked you to but in a secret. if he didn't like you, he proably wouldn't have kissed your hand.. i mean does he do that to every girl? probably not, so i think that means he likes you.. if he does like you i think you have a chance with him in high school and he probably is thinking about you if he likes you & if he does like you, its most definatly in a good way.. i think its a good thing that he finally got the nerve to ask you to dance.. and maybe thats just the begining! :) good luck!

Yeah it does seem like theres a big chance. you should tlak to him and ask him about the night at the dance. He might have something to say about it. Just go for it and put yourself out there and maybe he'll end up wanting to take it farther. From what you say he seems really sweet and you should go for him. Just wait to see if anything happens. Maybe the first time you told him, he wasn't quite ready, and now that he's had a chance to think about it he's realizing that he likes you also. Just keep hanging out with him and you'll be able to figure out whats going on in his head eventually.

hey hun.. i think maybe he really ment the " he didn't wana ruin the friendship" because maybe he just needed some time to think of what it would be like actually being your boyfriend.. and im guessing maybe he thought about it and he thought maybe it would be kool.. something new. I think he might like you- but take this slow with him to see what he really feels.. Maybe try talking to him about the night at the dance and say " well that was nice of you kissing my hand.. what was that for " and if his responce is something like " it just seemed like something to do" then maybe he's afraid of being more than ur friend- Or if he says " it was for you " or something like that.. then maybe he does wana be with you. be careful what you say because he kinda seems uncomfortable saying things. You possibly do have a chance with him in H.S. I guarintee hes thinking about you..
