* friends- n' school.. dont know which category to go into!
* i've been going to the same school and i have alot of friends.. but im moving and going to a complete diff. school for high school~ so i dont know anybody there! and most of the people that are going to be a freshman at the high school im going to have gone from a middle school to the high school so they like know everybody.. I dont know how should i approach people i know when school starts up... and i deffinatly wana have friends to hang out with for lunch or something but i deffinatly want to get into the right group- im a preppy kinda grl~ not geeky * * sorry if that affends ne one.. so please help me on this~ thanks!

PEOPLE LOVE NEW KIDS! Whenever a new kid comes to a school people want to learn about this new person. So just introduce yourself and be yourself! I'm sure they'll love you! good luck

well girls heres what i'd do...i moved in middle school to a big town. Small girl moving from a small town to a big town is hard...you just gotta find people that you think are similar to you and start up a convo anything that you can think of. High school is different i know but going into a different high scool think of it as a new begining and you'll find so many people to hang with at lunch and or breaks if you have them. i was afraid of goin into the high school though i did know some people. You still meet so0o many people no matter what. You'll fit in just fine! :)

Ye well i think that you should just start talking to people in your classes. Usually i alwayz make friends on the first day. Ppl arent really that mean, if your preppy then you should bre able to make friends really soon.Good luck!!

Just be yourself! And just approach people that seem nice and introduce yourself and tell them that your new and what not. Just be nice and what not. Good luck

Well I had your same problem. See I move once a year because my moms job transfers her to different states. I just went up to people and was like Hi i'm Kayla i'm new here and they would take it from there. Also...during like 1st hour I met alot of different people. Don't worry i'm sure you will do fine just dont be afraid to approach people! Good luck!

I know what you mean, about getting into the right crowd. But can't you be freinds with everyone? That's what my cousin said, and she's going to be a Senior next year. I'm going to be a freshman to, and I won't know anyone, but your gonna get to know some people. Whatever school your going to, try to go some place public around there, so you can meet people. I'm the preppy girl to, but I like everyone. :-)

That's good that you want to fit in. Just be yourself at school and be nice to the "popular crowd" and you'll fit in perfectly. Keep in touch with your old friends, though.

actually it mite be gud that ur coming in during bein a freshman.. cause even tho they all know each other everyone kind of splits up during freshman year since you meet SO many new ppl! so dont even worry bout bein scared cuz im sure the ppl who have been with those ppl there whole life are still even nervous bout goin into high school and not knowing anyone in their classes.. i mean im bout to be a freshman and im nervous but at the same time im excited to meet new ppl! so just put urself out there and dont be afraid to talk to new ppl and get to know them! im sure in no time youll have new friends! good luck!! :)
