Ok, heres whats going on, I have A computer and everytime I hook my screen up to it it says "Please check signal cable" and I move the cable around and it still doenst seem to work, it was working the last time I hooked it up but its not working now, so does anyone know what the problem is or what I could do to get it to work? I'll rate HIGH for anyone who can help me out with this, Thanks!

Finals.

I know we really aren't supposed to ask homework questions but I really need help. I have Algebra finals next week and I do NOT understand how to do these types of problems: Factor- 2x - x + 4, x - 81, and 4x - 13x - 30 = 0. Whenever I ask my algebra teacher all he says is: "HOW CAN YOU NOT GET IT????" and then he just explains it the same way all over again and I still don't get it. I'm already at a C- in his class and I'm normally an A - B and nothing lower student so this is bad. I really need help. If I don't pass this exam I could fail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well lately my friend, we can call her susen, has been really depressed lately. teachers have been noticing and she is starting to cut herself, when her other friend we can cal her lily goes to theropy for that now! she shows me and there not to deep but she told me how shes started to do it more now and shes scared. how can i help her? i mean i told her when she feels like doing it to call me and talk to other people. i dont no what else to do. i dont want to tell anyone becasue she might get mad and i told her i'll b here for her. what else can or should i do?

My friend has a 15 year old older brother who is having a house party. My friend has invited me and some other people we are friends with to go. I really want to go but if I did then I would have to lie to my parents. The plan is that I would go to my friend's house and tell my parents I was sleeping over then my friend's mother would drop us off at the party, we would tell her that we were just hanging out with our friend. We would go to the party and then my friend's mother would come and pick us up and take us back to her house and I would sleep over at her's. I want to go but I'm scared about my parents finding out because they would kill me. Should I go and risk it, or should I just stay at home and not go? I'm 13/female.

theres this girl that has been following me around since 7th grade she never talks or when she can you can't hear her.I dont like feeling like I have a shodow its emberassing when I talk to people and they try and talk to her but she just wont talk. Its the most annoying feeling so thats why i dont even enjoy lunch anymore id rather go to my next class. even if i say to someone "i need to tell you something in private" and walk away she still follows me. Shes the shyest person EVER and i would feel bad hurting her feelings. BUT I CANT TAKE IT ANY LONGER. pleaseee help i'll rate 5's

theirs this boy in my math class and we are friends sometimes he flirts with me and i do it back sometimes i think i like i do i let him know i like him with out lettin him know i like him. sometimes i feel like we were ment for each other but then it seems we are betta off just close friends but he is so cute i do i get him to like me. please any one write back

Sorry in advance for it being long. I'm 14/f and there is this guy that I really really like. The thing is we don't talk much, we don't see each other a lot, and earlier this school year he said I freaked him out. Well, during this year he has been flirting with me, and my friends noticed too. He hugs other girls, and awhile back he said he doesn't hug me because I'm too specail for his hugs. Then a couple days ago, one of my friends asked him why I don't get hugs. And he said that I don't want his hugs. I just want him to notice me, and we could talk more. But I'm kinda afraid to go up to him and just start talking or even on AIM. What should I do? I really like this guy. Does he like me or am I just being retarded?

Will the pill make me gain weight??

I went to my gyno a week or two ago becuase i have had irregular periods for about 5 years so she decided the best thing to regulate my periods and help with my acne, was to put me on the pill..so today i started my period which means tomorrow (since its sunday) will be my first day to take the pill..anyway my question is...i have heard from many people that the pill since it deals with your hormones and such it causes you to gain weight..i am very self contious and a little heavier than i would like to be as it is now..so will it cause me to gain inevitable weight??????? please does anyone know????

I need some help. Ok, back at my old school, me and this girl Ashley used to be best friends. She also had another best friend named Nelly, but me and Nelly never hanged out. Now, we all started a new school. Me and Nelly went to the same school, but Ashley didn't. We're even in the same class! So gradually, we became best friends. But now Ashley is totally jealous. Since me and Nelly are in the same class, of course we're going to start talking. But she doesn't understand that. What should I do? Thanx.

My former best friend and I have been growing apart over the last two years. Now to her I'm just someone she says hi to in the hall. It's been hard to stay in touch over the years because she is so busy and we haven't been in any of the same classes. We still consider oursleves "friends", but I wish things could go back to the way they used to be. Whenever I call her to do something with me, she always has other plans. Ever since we started fading away from being best friends I've really missed her. Okay, so I started school about 5 months ago, and there are a few girls (I'm not going to say their names) and they've been really mean to me. They were spreading around rumors, and talking about me behind my back. I mean, they keep doing it! I'm so sick of it! I don't know what to do because every time I try to talk to them their always together and i mean 4 against 2... You get the picture. Please help me!
