Question Posted Saturday January 22 2005, 1:42 pm

I need some help. Ok, back at my old school, me and this girl Ashley used to be best friends. She also had another best friend named Nelly, but me and Nelly never hanged out. Now, we all started a new school. Me and Nelly went to the same school, but Ashley didn't. We're even in the same class! So gradually, we became best friends. But now Ashley is totally jealous. Since me and Nelly are in the same class, of course we're going to start talking. But she doesn't understand that. What should I do? Thanx.

Tell her that she should be happy for you too. She shouldnt always have to have all the friends.. nor all the attention.. Just be honest .. how good of friends are you two now if she cant even allow you to have other friends?
been there

She's being unreasonable unless you guys are like excluding her from everything. Make sure she knows you both still love her and always invite her along, so she doesn't feel left out. She probably just feels hurt. It's not nice to feel alone.

Okay well if Ashley is getting jealous then I would suggest getting her email adress then going to goodflowers.com and sending her some virtual flowers everytime you have some free time along with a short email note!!!

Since you and Nelly are in the same class, your going to start talking. Tell Ashley she shouldn't be jealous and you don't want to lose a friendship over something like this. Maybe you should try getting Nelly, Ashley and you all together. Then you all could hangout and maybe Ashley wouldn't be so jealous. Knowing that you still care about her and you want to do things with her.

You have to get it through her head. Sit down and talk to her. You don't wanna lose a really good friend, so try to get her to see. Prove your point that people in the same class are bound to start talking sometime, and also let her know that you guys haven't forgot about her.
Hope i helped.
