i dont want to be mean....

I think the way I come off to people is just mean and that I don't like anyone. Today I heard some kid say (about me) "Yeah, she hates everyone" and that is not true. I tend to tell people to shut up and I guess I'm not the nicest person... so how do I begin to change? I don't want to seem a rude, hateful person anymore!

I have met this new friend. My bestfriend doesn't like her. I like her. The new friend is mean to my bestfriend but not to me. I want to be friends with both of them. What should i do?

i have a naturally quiet voice, especially when singing, any advice on how to sing louder? i have to sing in fron of judges ina couple weeks and thats one thing i would like to work on

okay my friend are the so called popular group and they have all had or have boyfriends and stuff and are slutty and stuff like that and i am friends w/ them and i have never had a boyfriend (though i have grinded w/ guys b4)and like when ever they bring up the subject of like boyfrinds or hooking up i always fell uncomfortable.......also i have been cutting latly because i have just become so overwelmed w/ every thing!help me out?

does anyone know of some good exercises to get rid of love handles? i do crunches (all the different levels) and they help a little... but they never seem to fully go away. i also diet.

okay this is a little weird but my friend (who will remain anonymus!) have a real laughing problem. every time something funny happens, and everyone laughs, we laugh the hardest. whatever, right? but even 20 minutes after everyoine calmed down already, we're still laughing!we've gotten in so much trouble at school for this.we'll even talk about it for days. get this: when we're angry with each other, we have even TRIED to fight, but we throw 2 insults at each other and we both burst out laughing! all of our friends think we're psychos, and we agree... then we start laughing again. what the hell can we do about this problem?!?!?!?!

ok, there's this guy who i am really trying to get over, but its not working very well. i really like him and he's sending mixed signals, flirting with other girls, but he flirts with me and is like all over me all the time. anyways, i'm trying to get over him but i'm not having any luck. i've tried avoiding him, but he will come up and start flirting, which doesn't help at all. how do i get over him?? HELP!!

I have a bestfriend. We fighted today and my bestfriend went to this person. I have known this person for as long as i have known ny bestfriend. This person was saying to break up with me. My bestfriend said no. This person thinks i am mean and everything. This person is trying to break me and my bestfriend up. Also this person is in a couple of my classes with my bestfriend and i am not going to change classes. What should i do?

Theres this guy Steve who asked me out.. 2 years ago.. and I was a dumbass and I said no. And I know that Steve wants a relationship, because he sometimes talks about how he wants a girlfriend. And he's not the type to just want a fling.. he's not your typical, hott, popular guy.. he's not even that great-looking, he's not popular but he's still cool, and he's caring and easy to talk to. And when I said he flirts with other girls, he doesn't exactly FLIRT with them. He just TALKS to them and becomes friends with them. I donno, I guess I get jelous sometimes and assume that he's flirting. And I'm not really sure, but sometimes he hints around that he kinda likes me. But how do i tell the difference form when hes flirting and when hes just being friendly?? Idk what to do.. help!!

Ok so i recently signed up for myspace and have been going through old yearbooks and i ran into this girl i knew in junior high (im 18/m now) so i sent her a message saying she probably doesnt remember me but i went to school with her and just wanted to say whats up. she responded saying she doesnt remember me and im at a loss for how to respond. i was thinking of saying soemthing like "ok well i cant say im not disappointed but i didnt really expect you to remember me, if you ever wana talk about how much the school sucked or anything like that feel free to message me" but i was wondering if soemthing else maybe better. should i try to job her memory? should i reply with "oh well no big deal" or is there a even better r...

memorization

i have to memorize a sonnet for my english class and i am having a horrible time. i've tried making flash cards, recording it and listening to it, but nothing i'm doing seems to work. do y'all have any advice on how to memorize (if you need to see it, it's shakespeare's sonnet #148). thanks so much!!

ok i know this is really random and sounds stupid, but whenever my mom eats, she doesn't eat with her mouth closed. this really bothers me because it looks and sounds really disgusting, but none of my other family members seem to notice. how can i tell her, politely, that i think it's disgusting and she should stop (because she does it in public too!)
