my best friend and i like the same guy. she knew i liked him and still is going to the dance with him. he would have gone with me but my friend told him mean stuff about me. i tell him she is lying but he doesn't believe me. i want to dance with him but i don't know how to ask. how should i? and what should i do?

First of all, your friend is a bitch and not a friend at all if she'll choose a guy over your friendship. Second of all, that guy is worth much if he'll believe anything he hears. He doesn't have a lot of integrity. Personally, I'd dump both of them and move on. Let them have each other. They both sound like losers and losers should stick together.

You should be mad at your friend right now. How could a "best friend" do that to you? You should tell him that SHE isn't worth it, and just see how he reacts. Its hard to dance with someone when he doesn't trust you.

That girl is so not your best friend. Friends don't do that to each other. Firstly, you need to drop that loser friend. Secondly, just ask the guy to dance(as friends.)or instead of dancing you guys could just talk.
