does anyone know of some good exercises to get rid of love handles? i do crunches (all the different levels) and they help a little... but they never seem to fully go away. i also diet.
CraziForRey619 answered Tuesday February 15 2005, 9:10 pm: LOL...love handles, they are great. But my advice: get into the position to do sit ups, but instead:
Go up about half way from where you would sit up fully on a diagnol, to where when you get up, your left elbow hits your right leg and your right elbow hits your left leg. Keep going back and forth between those and they should ge away
OR
Lay down on your side
Turn your head to face upwards and use your hands behind your head to do crunches. You should feel the sides of your stomache go inward if your doin it right. [ CraziForRey619's advice column | Ask CraziForRey619 A Question ]
babygurl14 answered Tuesday February 15 2005, 8:02 pm: ok, listen carefully, this exercise is called elbows and toes. Get on your tummy (like your fixing to do a push-up) and then get on your toes.
Push up and lay on your elbows and toes until you have to lay down. Hold as long as you can.
I do this all the time and im losing weight and gaining muscle.
Its safe for teens. Also it works your shoulders down to your calves. IT WORKS!!!! O also if you can get into a sport (if your not already).
Oh when ever you feel like it walk backwards. I know it sounds weird but thats what my mom told me i could do she says it works different muscles then just walking forwards
GOOD LUCK!!!! babygurl14 (savanah) feel free to ask me anything. [ babygurl14's advice column | Ask babygurl14 A Question ]
