Hi. Some might say that my subject for this question seems humorous but I'm desperate.
Me and my boyfriend have been together for 8 months. He lives in Texas and I'm in Oregon. Yes, this is an internet relationship, but it's lasted this long. So, something has to be working.
Anyway. In the beginning of the relationship my grandma didn't think much of it. She thought my boyfriend was a sweet guy (he has talked to her on the phone). Well, she thought that until she found out he's hispanic. My grandma is, as much as I hate to say it, racist.
She now doesn't allow me to call him anymore. I've resorted to sneaking the phone after she's gone to sleep. Just because I wanted to hear his voice. Talking ...

this is weird, but my braces have probably affected me a LOT, and i'm not just taking about my teeth getting straighter. i like the way i smile better (somehow, it made my smile bigger or something) but not the way it looks (you know...these TRAIN TRACKS IN MY MOUTH!). that is, when i DO smile. i've gotten so sick of these things. i'm always cutting my lips with them, and i can't stand the thought of knowing that i'll have them for another year... when people call me braceface, metal mouth, silver sidewalk, dientes de aluminio, etc. it's not that i'm sensitive or anything, but i get pissed off easily, and the thought of having them for another year and not being able to take them off even for a minute... it took away some of my favorite foo...

hello all,
I am the ten year (idiot)well thats what I call myself! since all of your advice I have found myself sleeping with him again and feeling like things will get better, I have not moved back in with him becaise I litiraly cannot afford it, and that would make everything even worse!!!but I have been off work as im sure you can imagine I need time to think, But is it not strange that every night I cant get hold of him?? i know he is with another woman am I just thick???
Today is different I am going to stay away from him because I know he is a liar and a cheat I cannot afford to be dragged back in , how the hell do i keep strong and sane in the process????

so i like this girl, and she likes me, this started only like a week ago but it has picked up full speed. we had a school dance last friday and we kind of ditched our dates to hang out wiht each other. nothing happened we just hung out and talked. were a little embarassed about bringing our semi-relationship out to our friends. we have our first official date scheduled for next tuesday, for dinner and a movie after i get off work. what do you think i should do until then, other than talking to her to keep her interested? how do we bring us out to our friends?

lost friendship

i have a friend that ive been friends with about 4 years and we did everything together. well, i moved about 6 months ago and ever since, we havent really talked...mostly because of me. it just hurt too much to call her knowing i cant see her or anything. i know that sounds crazy but i realize it was wrong now. anyways, she found a new best friend that i dont even know that lives in the same exact apartment complex i USED to live in. my friend is so different now and shes changed SOO much ...she says that since i lost contact with her, she had no choice but to change and meet other people. but, im so depressed about this. can someone please give me advice on what to do? im just so upset. thanks

Me and my boyfriend have been dating like almost 15 months and we are getting to the more intense sexual side our relationship, but i have something i had never told him. I was raped at a young age and I dont know if he will be able to tell. I always told him i was a virgin. Do you think I that would be concidered lying even though it wasnt consensual? yeah so i am really good friends with most of the guys i know because i get along with them and i understand them but then there is two of them that i just dont get i like them both and i can not choose because i like them both for different reasons one always goes for my friends becaus ehe thinks im flirting for them and the other one just is like one of my best friends and it is weird liking him but he wont tell me who he likes and he tells me everything can someone help me with this its really bothering me

I can't talk with my Mom about anything

It's really had for me to talk with my Mom now. I talk TO her all the time, but never WITH her. Every time I bring anything up she gets really mad and just says "You're pissing me off,leave now!" I mean, come on! How hurtful is that? I have problems with lot's of things and I can't do it alone, But It's just impossible to get her to talk with me. How can I?

i really want to become a vegetarian because i actually prefer helthy food to meat and burgers and i don't like to think that i'm eating something that once was a part of a living animal. although i would still eat seafood, dairy products and eggs, it would probably cause me to lose weight or not be able to gain weight, and i'm already skinny as it is. so my question's adressed to vegetarians and those who know a lot about nutrition: is it possible to gain weight while being a vegeterian? does it always cause people to lose weight?

my hair is naturally a very dark brunette and i had it highlighted goldish-blondish. its starting to grow out now and i need some ideas for when i get it done next time. if you could give me websites (besides google) and maybe if you know alot about hair some ideas of your own. i kinda like reese witherspoons brunette color and maybe that with like an ash colored highlights? im open to any ideas though.

There's this guy I met about a month ago that I am becoming obsessed with. When I met him we discovered that we had the exact same interests and my friends kept telling me to go for it, but I didn't want to make the first move.
