a good color would probably be red violet
it looks awsome in my aunts hair along with blonde highlights
laurajean answered Wednesday March 23 2005, 5:35 pm: personally i'd go with your original color. highlights tend to look cheesy and trashy..especially if they are done at home. But, if you are deciding on going to a salon I'd suggest:
Bring to natural color.
Lowlights&natural looking brown highlights.

Sometimes they have pretty good looking stuff in there....look through all of them b4 you buy them. If u do find a picture bring it in to your hairstylist and she'll make it happen...Hope it works out Love Nicole [ Nicole08's advice column | Ask Nicole08 A Question ]

I asked for the same goldish blondish highlights but with red highlights as well. It turned out great. I totally suggest doing it! [ Sherry's advice column | Ask Sherry A Question ]
