What does it mean to "go out" with a boy?

A boy likes me but I don't know if i like him back. Others say we should go out. Does that mean on a date? I'm confused.

Lately my love life has gone to hell. I've been hurt so many times and my ex wants me back. I love him, but not as much as I used too. I am single now and thinking of closing my heart to everyone because so far its just been hurt. Help me if you can!!

i really like this guy (R) and i think he likes me back but his best friend (G) was in love with me and told him to stay away from me. now G has a girlfriend but still doesnt want R to like me.
he never talks to me and always looks sad when he sees me. the thing is that i want him to talk to me but im too shy to do it myself lol
so what can i do to get him to talk to me? because i mean his friend has a gf now anyways so i dont get it.

i like this guy at my school. he is my exs best friend(my ex now likes my friend) but he only thinks of me as a friend. we always talk and i asked him who he likes but he wont tell me and he asks about if my friends like him or not and its sooo confusing. he tells me that im awesome and he is always saying stuff like that but i think he likes my friend...what should i do about it?

School just ended for me so summer is officially in session. I'm a little depressed because I won't see any of my new made friends over the 3 month summer vacation, which is why I usually loathe the long break from school. Anyway, to the point. There's a guy in particular who I became fast friends with, but it seems that once school ended, so did our friendship. i really like him and one of my friends suggested i tell him that I've liked him for as long as I have. But I'm not so sure since school's out and I won't see him. I don't want things to get awkward but then everything changes over summer, so I'm not sure. Ok I like this guy. He isn't popular at all. I'm not going to see him for like two months or so. So I messaged him and he did reply and we talked a little well just for him to find out who I was. So he knows and he isn't talking to me but I mean it isn't a big deal but I really like him and I'm not gonna keep sending him messages because I know that will creep him out. He is the only thing on my mind and I do keep myself busy. I don't really know what my question is but please help. so, my friend, N, and i got together last night and we drank a little. i had 1 and a half beers, and she has two water bottles full of wine. she was drunk off her ass and i was still sober as hell. so we wanted to go on a walk to smoke a few but she got really tired and sick and threw up. then she fell asleep. so i went on a walk alone. (keep in mind this is at like, 12-12:30) and i was on the phone with my boyfriend, M. well M kept saying that he wouldnt mind walking to N's house so we could all hang out and stuff. M lives like 5 mins away, so yeah.
well im walking around alone on the phone and stuff? and so im paranoid. so eventually he convinces me to let him walk up. and in about 10 minutes he and i are smoking in the mid...

Alright, so I'm 16, straight male, and my ex-girlfriend is still my normal friend (it lasted a a little more than a week). The reason we broke up was because she could never talk straight around me, and I wasn't into the relationship in the first place. I was hoping that I could learn to be if we went out for a little while. Before we went out, she introduced me to her best friend, and we became friends. So my ex is still into me and its getting annoying, she is always telling me stuff about how she still wishes we were going out and how much she still likes me. I'm not into it. I'm not sure, but subconsciously I think I like her best friend. I'm not the guy that would go after a relationship like that, but what I need help with is getting ...

My best friend has liked me for a few years. We've been close to dating before, but I got scared and thought I still had feelings for my ex and called things off. I've liked him again for a while now, so I'm considering trying it again. The thing is, I'm leaving for college next year. Seeing him won't be an issue because he will be at the same college, but is it a bad idea to start a relationship before college? I'm not going to spend all my time with him...I'm going to make sure that I make my own friends and have my own life, but does anyone have an experience with this, or even just any opinion? That would be great.

hehe so im a 17/f and about 2 weeks ago i met this boy in driver's ed. his name is nick. i didn't meet him in class but like when we were doing driver's time we started talking. and we got to know each other. well after we were done driving he i signed up for the next driving time from 4-6 p.m. and he signed up for 2-4 but he changed it so he could drive with me.. and i thought that was sweet. haha i dunno. and then last week when we drove, he asked me for my number and we'd text each other. and i asked him why he likes to drive with me and he said cuz its fun haha and im the only person he's actually gotten to know. lol so yeah. and we talk on myspace and im on his top 8. and i put him on mine's too. but yeah im not sure like exactly what...

I'm 16, and I've had a couple bfs but haven't had one in awhile. And I really enjoy being in a relationship more than being single, I feel happier and better about myself. I know it's good to learn how to stand on your own before you get involved with other people, but I think I've done that by now. How do I get the guy's attention? :D

okay 16/f, i have this boyfriend, and we've been going out for 7 months and he is very respectful and is in love with me and treats me right, but i've told him i wasn't comfortable going too far, with sex and he understands, but he like expects me to when we've been going out for a year..and i don't want to like dispoint him or make him wait for me, cause i dont know when i'll be ready. okay, so heres the story. i broke up with my boyfriend yesterday. i just thought i needed a break and stuff. then one of my bestfriends liked him the whole time we going out. and today this kid i liked cause was over my ex boyfriend, asked me out and tonight at the dnace he broke up with me while my bestfriend and ex boyfriend are going out. i cryedd so much. i still love him and want to go back out with him. i dont know what to do. i don't know if this means anything but at the dance he kept looking at me and stuff and making sure i was okay. Okay so I've been dating this guy for 9 months. Its been pretty bumpy && up && down. But, just last week we saw eachother everyday && it was great. Then I got supper busy recently so hes been hanging out with his friends alot, && thats all cool with me but that isnt my problem. He just started playing video games && I cant get him away from them. I've talked to him once in a week I call && text him but i only get short answers and conversations and we bicker alot. It frusrates me so I cant stand to stay on the phone && text(i dont like eithier in the first place) Last time we talked we got in a huge fight. i pulled a chair from underneath a guy and he fell and everyone laughed and then he laughed too as he got up. and then he gets up and sits right next to someone else and he barely talked to me when i asked him if he was mad at me.
i later found out he was embarassed? WTF? i wouldn't get embarassed if that happened. whats up with guys? do they really get embarassed that easily?
