What does it mean to "go out" with a boy?
A boy likes me but I don't know if i like him back. Others say we should go out. Does that mean on a date? I'm confused.

It just implies girlfriend/boyfriend - you dont have to go on dates it basically just swearing of all other guys untill you two break up. It also means he can kiss you, help your hand, play with you hair and all that without you freaking out. You should def give him a chance dont worry you can always pull a "this isnt working out"

To go out usually implys being girlfriend and boyfriend. Meaning you go on dates, hang out etc...
