ok i have to decide which highschool to go to next year. first i am going to tell you a lil about the first highschool. this highschool is what you call a ghetto highschool it is full of gangs. it has a bad reputation and used to have cops there. the good thing about this highschool is that most of my friend are going there. the second highschool. this one is a prep kind of highschool that is full of rich people and people that are my same race. expect allt he people that are my race are way to preppy and think they are so cool with the luxury cars. i was thinking of goin to the 2nd highschool but people say it is full of drugs and violance. which one should i choice? i knoe they arent the best of highschool but those r my choice becasue th...

I'm taking AP US History so I have a summer assignment. I'm supposed to read The Metaphysical Cub by Louis Menand and write a 4-6 page essay on how the ideas of the past (written about in this book_ effect us today... If anyone has read this book, could you please give me some ideas on what to put in the essay? Like, which ideas are still effecting us today about how? Thanks!

hi! i am seth i am really confuzed with myself right now.i want to be straight again ireally dont understand myself right now i have recently had a boi friend and dated a girl afterwards that tried to help me become straight because she thought that she could. hahahahahahahahaha and now I STILL LIKE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont kno why i want to get over it and start likeing girls again i dont kno how. i kno that it is against gods word and i want to go to heaven when i die, and i want to make my family happy. they dont exactly kno about me but i cant say that i havent thought about telling them. they think i am the highlight of their life they think i am lil mr perfect cuz i make straight a's and all that #@*% but there are many things i hide ...

Hey guyz!! i need help badly. i hope you could help me with this one. I'll rate 5's if the aswers are good. I used to live in queens next door to my boy friend but i lost touch with with him since i moved and i lost his #. and i want to talk to him again. i really really really really really miss him. we used to have the same friends but he stoped talkin to them and made new ones. some of ma old friends moved, which makes it harder.i went on the internet to look him up in the white pages but i couldnt find him. please please please please help me out. i dont know wat to do. i really miss him. how can i keep in touch again???????????????

ok so this guy i like named sean. moved away. and he has this friend that he meet and he asked me out. and sean told him that he asked out his g/f which was me. and we are not even going out. so it was weird. and then sean calls back and we started talking. and he told me he had a date...i was like o ok. and i hung up. should i feel heartbroken b/c i do. about this. i mean i no we weren't going out or anything but it still brought me down. plz help me.

two things 1--
i met this kid last year, dan. i loved him every sicne i met him. he was in a 1 and a half year relasinship with a girl named gina, he broke up with her in march (the beginging) noticed he liked me. gina was over dan,went out with a kid named dom. then april me and dan went out. but we broke up because he missed gina, nd i was starting to like another guy. then me and dan were good friends and then we would get in fights everyother day. in the end of june. and my his finals ended last week. he was gonna ask me back out but i started to like someone else. but now i noticed i love dan soo much. and no one else. but now he works late. i go to summer school. so now he is gonna ask me back out in augest. i really love him, ...

Being there for my friend

Ok so one of my close guy friends, we'll call him "Sam." "Sam" had been best friends w/ one of my girl friends ever since they were little. She loves a guy that Sam hates. And every time they get into a fight over this guy, Sam always talks to me about it, and asks me for advice. Sam always says he will never forgive her, but they always make up. I want to be there for Sam, but i feel like he just runs to me whenever he needs help. I cant talk to Sam about it, he's sensitve and would get mad. I dont wanna lose him as a friend. HELP ME I RATE HIGH

I'm 17/f and and I am having trouble finding a new job in my area. I have cashier/phone/front counter and customer service experience, so I was hoping i could get a new job with those skills, just not quite sure where. I want to work at a laid back place, nothing involving TOO many people. I prefer not to work at any typical teen place like.. food places, grocery stores, or movies. I want more of an office job, but im not sure what businesses hire people my age. I can type pretty fast (140+ wpm) and i know more about computers than most people. Any suggestions?
