HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want to become straight as
hi! i am seth i am really confuzed with myself right now.i want to be straight again ireally dont understand myself right now i have recently had a boi friend and dated a girl afterwards that tried to help me become straight because she thought that she could. hahahahahahahahaha and now I STILL LIKE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont kno why i want to get over it and start likeing girls again i dont kno how. i kno that it is against gods word and i want to go to heaven when i die, and i want to make my family happy. they dont exactly kno about me but i cant say that i havent thought about telling them. they think i am the highlight of their life they think i am lil mr perfect cuz i make straight a's and all that #@*% but there are many things i hide from them that r not good. i hope that some one can help me understand myself and try to help me become straight or watever i am........ thanks alot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay hun i think you should except the person you are even tho i can tell that despratly you want to chnge your sexuality.. sounds to me you have tried and it isnt working.. you cant help who you like and are attracted to.. yes it might be a sin and against God's word but everybody sins.. just ask forgivness and maybe try to talk to him.. like say you cant help how you feel and whatever else is on your mind.. i understand where your coming from.. Maybe you havent met a female that your attracted to or something.. i know you dont want to let your family down i can understand that but you dont have to tell them right away that your not straight.. give it time and wait for the right time to tell your family.. if you need anymore advice just leave it in my inbox.. ♥ Dez

I can't say that i know how you feel, but i have some friends that are guys who are confused right now too. One of them tells people he is straight and tries to be and knows that it is not how God wants him to be, but he still is confused, and that does not make you a bad person. If you are actually a Christian, then you are going to Heaven whether you are confused about your sexuality or not b/c u know that God forgives, just pray about it and realize that he made you a man to love a woman and that he has a specific plan for your life, and about telling your parents, you might even want to do that b/c believe it or not, they might actually be able to help you too. I even had to tell my parents that i had sex and stuff and they still love me, my mom even said that if i was gay she would still love me no matter what, so i know u will make it through this..hope everything works out!

Well my advice is to take your time. Why do you have to KNOW now whether or not you are straight. Give yourself some time. Take a 6 month break from intimacy with both sexes and get to know yourself better. Many people who turned out to be gay much later in life. Please don't misunderstand me, I am not saying that you have to deny your true feelings, just get to know more about yourself and what your true feelings are. As far a God and going to heaven, I am a catholic, but I believe that GOd is going to send pedophiles, and wife beaters, and murderers to hell, not good people. I don't think he judges us on our sexual orientation, since I believe that it is something that we cannot help. We are designed to be attracted to other humans. If we are attracted to our own sex, well there is not much we can do to stop it, and denying it makes us crazy. So just make friends, make good friends, and even if you KNEW you were straight and were trying to decide about which girl to like, I would give the same advice. Take some pressure off yourself, and give yourself some time.

This is a very tough problem. It sounds like you really really want to be straight, but when you try it doesn't work. It probably doesn't work because you aren't straight and maybe that's the way it was meant to be. I know that this isn't the answer you want to hear, but it sounds like there is nothing you can do about this. You just have to accept yourself for who you are and be proud of it. The worst thing you can do is be ashamed of yourself for liking guys. I know that you wanted me to come up with some answer to help you to not be gay, but the thing is... i can't tell you how to like girls. You like guys and that's the way it is and nothing will change that. As for your parents... they love you and I'm sure that they will support you whether you are gay or straight. At first, it may be a shock to them and it may be hard for them to accept, but they still love you and being gay isn't going to change that. So accept yourself for who you are and don't try to change just to please other people. Stay confident and stay true to who you are, because you are an incredible person.
