The Metaphysical Club

Question Posted Monday June 27 2005, 6:30 pm

I'm taking AP US History so I have a summer assignment. I'm supposed to read The Metaphysical Cub by Louis Menand and write a 4-6 page essay on how the ideas of the past (written about in this book_ effect us today... If anyone has read this book, could you please give me some ideas on what to put in the essay? Like, which ideas are still effecting us today about how? Thanks!

lol. I like how nobody's gonna write your essay for you. It's funny.

OK, I'm done laughing now... I shouldn't laugh... I find it difficult to write these essays, too - lack of creativity.

Try sparknotes and similar sites. I haven't read the book, but (last I checked) they give responses that might help you.

Really, the only reason I'm responding, is that nobody else has. I figure you won't like my response, but it's better than nothing, I hope. ^.~
