O. My. God. I don't know what the hell to do! I'm 13f and I just discovered I like my teacher (he's a guy). This is sooooooooooo embarassing! And he senses it, too, which is even worse. Because every time I see him I blush and I can't make direct eye contact. I should not be liking him. What can I do to NOT like him? How can I control blushing?

my hair is pretty straight and i want to have curly hair like the mary kate and ashley ( not permanently though ) so what can i do to make it curly.. i dont have a hot iron curler thing so im not gonna go and buy one.. any tips? \
ps. i have those like curling things that you wrap your hair around .. if i were to use those, should my hair be wet or dry and how long should it be in there

I am going to be a junior in high school & I am going to be taking an AP U.S. History course. For the summer we had to read a book (I read Nickel & Dimed) and then write an essay. The assignment is:
Based on your understanding and knowledge of the opputunities offered by the United States before 1850, what does the book that was read indicate about the "American Dream"?
I know that the book I read is indicating that the American Dream is not as promising as it was before the 1850s, because back then immigrants came here & were able to start a better life, but now people are trying to work low wage jobs that do not support them or do not generally lead to an improved life. See I have this really awsome Dad. But I stopped seing him because him and my mom got in a fight. Like not physical. But like swearing. Then that went to court and I am not allowed to see him anymore. I havnt seen him in 5 years. And all my friends at school know him and get to see him and are always talking about how cool he is and I know he is cool but I miss him reallllyyy bad. And I cant wait until I am 18 to see him but I have to. Every night I cry and cry. What do I do? What do I do to stop being depressed. I really, really like this guy.Earlier this year, I think he sort of liked me because he was kind of flirting, but at the time, I was so involved with my own issues and I was going through a "Goth" phase that I didn't notice. And I think he doesn't like me anymore, I heard he has this new girlfriend (let's name her "Chloe") and I hate her to death. I now wish I gave him that chance earlier this year. What can I do? I'm thirteen and I know this kind of problem seems minor compared to someone who's like 18, but this is an advice site, so I thought maybe someone here could help me???

I have volleyball tonight and im a nervous wreck!! becuz the commisioner for my school volleyball is coming and its kind of like a tryout thing but have of my grade will be together and then half will be on the high school juniors team and im a sophomore and its like an advanced thing and i am like really excited but then im nervous too. What is a good way not to get to nervous and do bad at the sport????

ok well im 17 and me and my boyfriend met like a month ago at my friends grad party and we just hit it off and now we are an "item". THe bad thing is that he lives in detroit which is like an hour and a half from where i live so we never get to see each other but we talk almost everyday on the phone.we love each other but im just scared to lose him cause i finally found someone worth loving but long distance relationships never work out from what my friends say but i want to know how you guys would handle being in a relationship like mine. thanks
