Ok, before I ask my Q, I just want to make this clear---IF YOU DON'T KNOW A LOT ABOUT MUSIC, DO NOT ANSWER. I don't want anyone saying "oh drink some honey and tea and that will turn you into a huge opera singer."
My range is from E3-Db6. I was a soprano for a while, but I switched to mezzo because my mid-voice notes are stronger and richer than my higher notes. My problem is: From D4 on up, my notes sound kind of thin and weak. I can sing the notes easily, but it doesn't sound rich like my mid-voice register. If fact, it sounds like two different people singing. But last week, I had a 3-hour choir rehearsal, and near the end my higher notes sounded rich and like the same person singing. Why is this?

I Had this friend Taylor, we met eachother when in the fourth grade. Taylor is really fun to be around, and really pretty. I always felt bad being around her, but our friendship was always so great. Will when middle school came my parents divorced, and i had to go to another school then the one Taylor's gone too. We were friends into the 6th grade the whole year we talked everynight, we had a few sleepovers. Her parents ending up divorcing too, and that it made it harder to have sleepovers, but we Always talked on the phone, always. Then i got into the 7th grade, (would be the grade im currently in) we were friends, for awhile.. then around halloween last year (still in 7th grade) we stopped talking, she blew me off for our halloween plans ...

How do I get him to notice me?

There is a guy I really like at my dance studio. He is so cute and a really good dancer ( yes he is even though he does does ballet) but how do I get him to notice me? From what I have heard and observed, he is into the skinny ballerinas (absolutely not me in any way, shape, or form, literally. I am like pleasently plump, curvy cutie, fluffy, whatever you want to call it)! Plus, his sister goes to the studio too and I know she does not like me (she is a skinny ballerina type also). What to do? Is pursuing him completely hopeless?

Ive been kinda chasing a girl for awhile named sarah. Shes a cheerleader and very cute. I recently found out at a basketball game that a different girl, Brooke, that i have always thought was crazy hott would date me if i asked her. The funny thing is at that same basketball game, I ran into a girl in my grade that I and others would say is very outta my league. This girl's name is Lauren. Now i was at home later that night and Lauren calls me up asking what I was doing and we all know she wantde me to ask her out. What should I do? HELP!!!!!!!

bad friends

I have been best friends with this girl since second grade and now we're in ninth. but lately, shes been acting really jealous of me and she's not being a good friend. she has done a lot of things to betray my trust and she has been super jealous of me. my birthday is on wednesday. i'm turning fifteen and i'm cuban so it's a really big deal. she noes that i'm going to have a quinces and that it's going to be really special.. but instead of being happy for me about the good things coming my way, she's being super jealous. i can't talk to her about it because she would take it all personal and stuff... but what else could i do to show her because it's really bothering me how she is like calling every boy that likes me and talking about everyt...

Advicenators That Answer Sex Questions

Okay, y'all...I am a fellow advicenator. I am just wondering why advicenators who have NEVER had sex or don't know what the hell the are talking about are answering sex questions. These people actually might just TAKE your advice...at least learn about what you're answering before you hit submit. Oh yeah, and for all of you who think wearing TWO condoms is cool...you are so wrong.

Vitamin E Gelcaps?

Is it safe to break open Vitamin E gel filled capsules to put the gel onto scars to help them fade? Vitamin E is supposed to help with that, and I've heard that rubbing the gel on the scars is good, but I've also heard that breaking open any sort of pill is bad for you. Any insight on this?

ok i have a friend who has a bf with herpes and he supposively hasnt had any breakouts for a while now and she gives him oral and she thinks shes not gonna get herpes because of him not having any breakouts...is that true?..if its not then i'll tell her to go get tested....im really worried about her

i was just wondering what people think of glasses. do you find them nerdy or attractive? i have to wear glasses fullo time and i am wondering if contacts are the way to go or should i wear glasses but i dont want to seem like a four eyes freak. any inputs are appreciated.

i have liked this guy all year, pathetic i know, but i was crushing. we started talking and *flirting* alot. i melt when i see this guy, really my heart just skips a beat. he says im beautiful and such. he is absolutely gorgeous too, and that doesn't hurt. but he has a tendacy to hit on alot of girls, when he talks to me it is differant though... i dno.

Prank Backfired

Me and one of my friends wanted to play a prank on this annoying guy that had been stalking another friend of ours that works as a waitress. Well actually there were 3 people in on the prank. The owner and chef of the restaurant encouraged us to do this because his waitress (our friend) had been complaining about this guy that always came into the restaurant, asked her out repeatedly, bought her unwelcomed gifts and then followed her home after her shift. So this was the joke: we went into the porn shop, bought all these sex toys, wrapped them, and then signed it to him from a "secret admiror". This would give him a taste of his own medicine. Ok... im 13/f and i weigh 170lbs yes i know im fat... but ive been losing a lot of weight.. but all my friends are tiny and i feel so selfconcence(SP) around them and like i feel like they talk about my weight when im not around(but i know they dont) i just feel like really fat... is there anyway that i cant just be not selfconcense around them and i can just be me without feeling fat.... im already on a really good diet so you dont have to tell me to get on a diet.. i need mental help on this 1 ... :'(

Best Friend Doesn't Look So Good

Ok, I'm going to go through all of this and try to not sound vain or concieted. I'm just going to be totally honest because I am the 'advisor' of our group and I am totally killing myself trying to help her.
So my friend Angela and I were fat geeks two years ago. I was the one with the sense of fashion though. Last summer, she went on vacation and came back totally transformed and in shape. She has a really nice body now. I passed on all my advice to her and she started wearing designer labels and boots and pretty much copying my "style". I didn't mind though, like it's flattering to me that she would take whatever I said to heed.
