Everyone says that like it's just so simple. "Just get a new boyfriend!" HOW? If there isn't anyone that likes me, then how exactly am I supposed to get a boyfriend? It's not like I can just snap my fingers and have guys crawling all over me like everyone else, they just don't want to date me!
So... HOW? How do I just get a new one? HOW?

V-day Trouble!

V-day is coming up, and I have /no/ idea what to get my bf! He loves music, and plays the trumpet/piano. I was thinking about taking him to a movie, but not sure his parents would let him go because they are /super/..well.. I dunno.. they're kinda weird. I mean, I don't know how to describe them. Anyways, any ideas? Mom suggested cologne (sp?) but i figured he doesn't wear that too much. Heeeelllp!!! (Please) :P

ugh ok well i really like this kid hes really cute everyone wants him and all that well im good friends with his ex gf and they are like best friends so the other day he told her that he knew i like him and it was so obvious and he thought i was really cute but like i cant just talk to him she wants me to go to the movies with him but like i dont know how to talk to him i need soem convo starters and not oh act like hes your bff or talk about sports school music uh. no this is the real world honestly who does that so can some one pleaase give me advice!

Ok, so my friend /really/ likes this guy, and she thinks he likes her a bit too.. He is also single, and they hang out a lot. Sometimes he gives little hints to her that she takes as his way of saying he likes her a little.. Except, she also heard that he was going to ask someone out on the bus today. Help?

There is a girl I've known for a good long while, and recently I made the effort to get back in touch with her and be friends again. I assumed it was going pretty well, we talk online and go out shopping and stuff sometimes. I do like her, but recently I've got the feeling she is just using me to take her places (into town, to see bands) b/c she's not allowed on her own. If I suggest just hanging out or something, she'll always just brush away the suggestion. If we do see each other we get on well though. I'm pretty much her only friend as well, and it sounds really mean, but I thought she'd be kind of pleased to have some friends.
So what should I do?

Ok, to start off, I've been dating my bf for almost seven months now. Things have been on and off with us, becuase we fight alot about stupid stuff. He is over dramatic and over reacts, and I try to hard to resolve it and get angry easily. Well after our four month anniversary something happened. He dumped me the day after prom for another girl. He cheated on me. And the two weeks that we were apart and broken up were hell. I missed him even after what he did and I tried moving on with another guy I had liked but things weren't the same. Alright so Im kinda skinny and people tell me alot that if I put on some weight id be alot prettier.
so my question is. what is a healthy way i can put on some weight. I want some junk in my trunk and some nice legs and all of that. Bigger breasts and all <3

okay i am 13 years old...adn there is this guy that i really like and he likes me. the only thing is that hes 2 years older then me...to me it doesnt seem bad or anything but to everyone else it does. everyone keeps telling my that he does drugs and stuff but whne i ask him he says no. and people are telling my that he only wants to go out with me to make out and have oral sex. when i asked him about this hes like i would never make u do anything that you didn't want to. and i said good b.c i would never give you oral sex. and he said fine...

Why do I have these thoughts?

All right, I'm a relatively healthy (physically and mentally, I hope) young woman. I've never been intimate with a man. However, I've realized more and more that violence turns me on. For instance, when I see rape on TV or in a movie, I feel myself becoming aroused. When I fantasize, I always have these dark fantasies where a man is hurting me and forcing himself on me. It's not like I don't appreciate or crave romance - I do! Why am I having these thoughts though? I don't want to be hurt or violated or anything, but it just turns me on. Is it all right? Would a man be freaked out if I shared this with him? Would he take advantage of me? I've always thought I was a "good girl".

Ok.
So I have a best guy friend.
And we have always liked each other on and off, but lately we have been hanging out much more than usual. I think he is starting to like me again, I dont' want him to because things are going so well as best friends, and I like this other guy who likes me too. I don't know what to do. I am going over to his house tonight to watch a movie and I wish we could just be friends. I still want to hang out with him, and I don't really want to stop just because he likes me more than a friend. What should I do?

I need to know the value of a book.

I recently found a 2 books in my library.
I probably have them from my grandparents, but i didn`t know about them.
A friend (the same one that directed me to this site) told me they might be valuable.
The books are:
1. "Pe culmile disperarii" (On the Heights of Despair), Bucharest, "Fundatia regala pt. Literatura si arta" publishers, 1934.
2. "Cartea amagirilor" (The book of deceptions), "Cugetarea" publishers,
Bucharest, 1936
Both books are in romanian and are the first editions of the philosopher`s first books.
I`m really curious how much they`re worth.
Can you help me out?
