"So get a new one!"

Question Posted Thursday February 2 2006, 5:47 pm

Everyone says that like it's just so simple. "Just get a new boyfriend!" HOW? If there isn't anyone that likes me, then how exactly am I supposed to get a boyfriend? It's not like I can just snap my fingers and have guys crawling all over me like everyone else, they just don't want to date me!

So... HOW? How do I just get a new one? HOW?

I'm telling you from experience that if you are SEEKING a boyfriend, you may appear to be a neon sign to skeevy guys you truly want nothing to do with. The good ones come along in time, and you'll often miss them for a long time before you realize what great guys they are. Go through the motions of your life, even if you're down, and try not to worry! Being alright on your own is quite attractive to guys.

Sounds to me like you just like having a boyfriend for the sake of going places and just the reason of having one. Well let me tell you I've tried jus goin with a boy for no reason and it doesn't work in the long. Of course he wouldn't have the same tastes and hobbies and then again he might not like you for you either. It wouldn't be based on love...more like lust!
So the safest thing to tell you at this moment is to wait for the right guy to come along. Of course it's worth the wait and the patience pays off because you'll find the right one at the right time!

It seems like you just want a boyfriend for the singe luxury of being taken. Wait for the right guy. He'll come along eventually. Dont try going after every guy in sight just so you can find comfort in saying "i have a boyfriend".
&& everyone else doesnt have boys crawling all over them, in fact i havnt met anybody that does.

Do you really need to have a bf 24/7? Just try to chill without a boyfriend until someone comes along and don't sweat it!

umm.no offense but you sound kinda desprate here.
you don't need to have a boyfriend at all times.
if you see it as a need you have far too few true friends.

if im wrong though.
you may need to just take it easy relax and see who drops out of the sky.

or visit the black market. im sure they've got something.....not from experiance of course.....
