I'm delivering a speech favoring gay rights in america for my college and I'd like to compile a list of openly gay celebrities but I can only think of about four and I can't find anything on the internet that's reliable. So I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me find something.

A few algebra questions.

Tomorrow i have an algebra test and there are a few things on the reivew that I don't understand:
One problem is: One of the zeros of a polynomial is x=1. Use this fact to completely factor: 3x^3 + 4x^2 - 5x - 2. I don't understand how to work it. Do I just plug in 1 for x and solve it that way?
And the other two I don't get say, 'Solve by Factoring' and the problems are: 6x^2 + x - 40 = 0 and 2x^3 - 3x^2 - 18x + 27 = 0.
And the last question is: How do I write an equation in standard form with zeros: -3, 1, and plus or minus 2i?

whats it mean when your boyfriend accidentally calls you someone else? like today my boyfriend did that.. he called me one of his friends name (female). i dont really think anything bad of it though i dont guess because they never really hang out.. they just talk sometimes at school. i was just wondering opinions.. is that bad he did that or do things just happen? does it mean he likes her? it only happened just this one time today and we've been dating like a month..

Ohk i have a job. And the problem is i should be getting 20 hours a school week. And 40 hours on a break. Well on a regular week i only get 8 and half hours and on breaks i only get 15 hours.
Its been like this since December. Its really aggravating me because a girl the same age as me is getting more hours then me like 5 hours more.
Im thinking about searching for a new job. Because i need the hours and the money. Would it be a good idea to go out and look for a new job?
Dont tell me that i should start getting more hours soon i highly doubt it.
I work really hard at the job i have now. The girl my age hates working and complains more then anything in the world. I dont get it. ...

factual information on the internet

What are some ways you can tell a site is giving you factual information and someone didn't just make it up? Or ways that you can tell the into isn't factual?
I was on this site (http://digilander.libero.it/seashorecentre/seashore_wildlife/starfish,_sea_urchins_and_brittlestars.htm) looking up things abour cushion starfish and I'm not sure if the information is right.

I just found out that my brother and his serious girlfriend of 2 years just broke up. I found out from her not him; he hasn't even mentioned anything about it yet. Idk how to handle this. Hes my big brother and I want to protect him. I wanna hate her for breaking his heart; but she was practicly my older sister. I dont know what to do; He doesnt seem very sad, but he could be just bottling it up. I wanna comfort him but idk if he wants me to know, i Dont think my parents know either.
what should i do?

i want to get side bangs and i have a hair appoitment in 2 weeks, but i wanted to get them after basketball season ends(which is in like, 1 month) because i dont want them in my face while im playing. are there ways that i can keep them out of my face(somehing good cause i dont want to be rebounding and have someone rip out some big clip) lol

ok, so i bought those leggings that go down like, halfway through your shins that im gunna wear with mini skirts. but i dont know what shoes to wear with them. im in 7th grade, so i deffinatly dont want to wear pumps to school, but i cant think of any other shoes to wear that would look good besides these flats i have, but they give me wiked bad blisters.plus they wont match much. so i was wondering if sneakers would look good. i have white low top air forces.

Ok guys I really want to know what the movie was called... It was on vh1 in 1998-9 and it was about a girl that was a hippie way back when and she sang or soemthing. she got into a crash and was in a coma. I think it was called "clearwater" or something but I just can't think of it. I really want to watch it again (I haven't seen in since then!) so I would appreciate any help! thanks! <3

okay well i like this guy and we UST to be friends but we got in a fight a couple of days ago and i cant stand it he hates me and for one i hate it wen people hate me. and 2 im not even sure why he does. but hes dating one of my "friends". but she doesnt no i like him or so she says but the night that he got mad at me she did no cuz she seid she did and im not sure what to do my best friend seid she would talk to him but im afriad he wont listen to her. i realli want him to stop hating me becuz i ust to always talk to him about basicly every thing then it just stoped and keeping everything bottled inside isnt working for me. At least with this it isnt. can anyone help?

Well i sweat a whole lot. like a WHOLE lot.. even in the winter i have wet under arm rings and i dont know what to do about it.. i use deoderant but it doesnt really help.. is there anything i can do? any tips?

There are these freshman in my art class and they're sooo annoying! I'm pretty preppy and they think I'm sometimes overly preppy..but hey, that's just me.
Anyways, they always give me dirty looks and they talk about me..I know it. Like I see them talking about me. I don't know why they hate me...I've never done anything to them! I always try to be nice & smile to everyone! Should I confront them and ask them? Please help!

I'm 16, almost 17. When I was a freshmen I started dating this guy, who wasn't the best guy in the world. The bad guy type, does drugs, gets in trouble, gets drunk on weekends. I look back now and I don't know what I was thinking. But I was with him for a year. My parents hated him, yea you know how it is. Drama in the household. Eventually we had to break it off because of my parents. We still talk every couple of months or so. But I got in a relationship with a guy, and I've been with him for 8 months now and I know I love him, but I still keep thinking about my x. And there is no way I could ever get back with my x or even want too. But I can't help but think about him. I always wonder if he's thinking about me or how he's doing. I know ...
