factual information on the internet

Question Posted Thursday February 23 2006, 11:02 pm

What are some ways you can tell a site is giving you factual information and someone didn't just make it up? Or ways that you can tell the into isn't factual?

I was on this site ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)) looking up things abour cushion starfish and I'm not sure if the information is right.

If you could find the same information on three seperate websites that aren't linked together in any way, then most likely it's true. It's called tri-something. I forget.

I love you,
The Waffler
