I'm delivering a speech favoring gay rights in america for my college and I'd like to compile a list of openly gay celebrities but I can only think of about four and I can't find anything on the internet that's reliable. So I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me find something.
Thanks in advance.

In case you see any untrue news of her on tabloids, she's doing well now, no more drugs and drama, focusing on work. Check her out on these webs:

I totally support gay and lesbian. It's just one kind of love. Actually, the same kind of love as every single one of us would feel about the one we love. And when you're loving someone deeply, you might wanna have a legal relationship with him/her. It's natural. I would be completely fine if I'm homosexual since I'm only 14 now(I don't sure which sex do I love yet, I have to say that I've been thinking if I love a girl). In fact, I would be happy about it because I finally find someone I love enough to make me think of myself as different from most people, to be someone that might be hated by others or even friends and families(I have friends that don't support homosexual too). I don't get what is so complicated about it that BurnieMac can't understand. Marriage is not always about children. Plus, they can adopt one if they want. Some people afraid children adopted by homosexual family might be affected by their background. I believe that it's just the same as growing up with parents divorced or parent is a criminal, who their parents are doesn't always affect them. Um... sorry if I wrote too much, I just couldn't stop. What I wrote have been in my head for too long, I saw all those people hating Lindsay Lohan and others because of their homosexuality and I just can't help it when I see this opportunity to let it all out. KD Lang/Katie Lang (I'm English and she's not known over here so I really don't know how it's spelt - only heard it in a film!!)
Hmm...actually....I can't really think of any more! If they were English, I could have told you loads since there seems to have been a spate of 'coming out' over our side of the pond!!! [ Vikki27's advice column | Ask Vikki27 A Question ]

Then, someone responded that they are against homosexuality but on the same hand knew about 20 openly gay celebrities. Sounds like a real fan, even though this person listed Jodie Foster as being openly gay, which she is not, she is still in the closet with her sexuality.
Sadly, many celebrities have to hide the homosexuality because many people are against this kind of lifestyle. What difference does it make? There are many people who spew misinformed, bigotted advice on this website that keep these famous people from being able to be free with themselves.
sweetpea318_247 answered Friday February 24 2006, 3:22 pm: wow i totally support gay/bi/lesbian rights to marriage. kudos to you for doing that speech!! just like that other person said. google it. you should be able to find information that way. as to the burniemac person. whats wrong with gay/bi/lesbian people getting married? if a straight guy or girl is allowed to be happily married why shouldnt a gay/bi/lesbian person be able to be happy too? Marriage is not about reproduction dumbass. its about love, respect, loyalty and happiness. there are people out in the world that arent capable of having children. should they not be able to get married because their bodies arent capable of reproducing? yea exactly. im bisexual and it just so happens that i may not be able to have children when im older. does that mean i shouldnt be able to get married? even if i do fall in love with a man? yea exactly..

BurnieMac answered Friday February 24 2006, 12:17 am: Why should gay people get married? It's not natural; they can't have kids. So, why should they be allowed to get married? That's like saying I have a right to be in the NBA, even though I suck at basketball. [ BurnieMac's advice column | Ask BurnieMac A Question ]
