I'm running for the Sophomore Class President (2006-2007) and I was wondering what kind of jobs are entitled to the president.
Also, I'm writing a speech (we don't really have to do one in front of the student body, it is just placed in a piece of paper with your picture on the voting packets) and I was wondering if anyone could help me. It MUST be 200 words or less --
As the Sophomore Class President, I promise to be an effective leader to my peers. I also promise to make our voices heard. Through myself, everyone of you can be represented. As an open person, I am 110% willing to listen to your problems or help you out; that means you can talk to me about anything. Whether it be comments, ideas, or suggestion...

BIG MISTAKE

alright. I made a giant mistake. Well, i have a bf and i kinda like this other kid, and well i have been talking to him && i guess today he found out i had a bf, and which he NEVER asked me if i did. So, techniqually i am not lying. However, it hurt him and now he basically hates me and all. && i have talked to his mom and she is trying to talk to him.I feel sooo bad. I dont know what i should do. I already said sorry. and i know i did it to myself. I just feel so bad. Ughh.

This great guy & I have been dating for a few months now. He's popular and he's been with a few girls from our school. He has told me that 2 of his exes have mentioned me in a negative way. I've started to notice a few girls giving my dirty looks around school, which has never happened before. He says these girls are jealous but I'm getting upset by it. I'm starting to question if this potential relationship is worth it, even though he really makes me happy. Should I just forget about the girls or forget him?

** this is going to be long but i really need to get my thoughts and feelings out and i really need advice!!!!!!!!!! **
okay.. so i really wanna be a model..
1 problem.. i'm 5'2" -- now i'm only 14.. my dad is a little taller than 6 foot and my mom is about 5'3".. now i don't know who i'll take after because i'm still short at 14.. but yet i already passed my mom is shoe sizes [she's an 8 and i'm a 10] and my fingers are way longer than hers.. so keep that in mind..
now.. i've heard so many different things about modeling such as.. commercial models [like one's for magazines and ads] don't have a required height and only runway and fashion models have to be 5'7" MINIMUM..

me and my boyfriend 1 year anniversary will be coming up in a couple weeks. were very close and i already know what hes making me dinner and getting me a really expensive ring. but problem is, i have no idea what to get him. any ideas? i rate 5's.

How do you loose weight in your butt & thighs & calves? What foods do I cut back on?
and also my thighs are kind of big, but thats just because they're very muscular, (I've played soccer since I was six & play on lots of teams..).
Is there any way to lose muscle without quitting soccer?

My friend's parents make her (a freshman) study non-stop. She doesn't get very good grades, but it is certainly not because of a lack of effort. She comes home from school and is forced to study and do homework from 4:00-12:00 (sometimes even until 1 or 2 a.m.). I constantly stress to her that she needs to get enough sleep and have some fun every once in a while because obviously working herself to death isn't the solution (her grades are still not that good). She has said to me numerous times that she brought a bad quiz/test grade to her mom and that her mom threw something at her. On the weekends, she is forced to study practically all day unless she is invited to go out.
Am I over-reacting or is this unhealthy? What can I do to help her?

Hi, I'm doing this project for school. We need to find an apartment and a job--saying that we're 18 and unexperienced. We are to see if we can "make it" on mininum wage based on our needs and such. Anyway, my question is--How much does a one bedroom complex cost? I looked up this place..that charges $425..but is that per week or per month? I can't call them because the number is a 1-877 number and they're closed right now. Soo please help anyway that you can. Thankyou. :)

this is gonna sound very weird..and im sorry.. well im 14/f and i come from a family that is very hairy..yah so far i bet your thinking EW. ok well moving on i have like really bad issues with myself like im very self consious..and like since i come from a hair family my body is like yah..so my toes are ew and my knuckles and armsand tummy are yah u get it..so i was wonding what does anyone recomend..thanks ill rate!
