Metabolism

Ok, this might sound like an odd question, but is it possible to speed up your metabolism? i.e. I have been dieting for three weeks, so last night, I decided to splurge. I had a lot of cookies and brownies and thing like that. I weighed myself this morning, (i weighed yesterday morning too.) and I haven't gained anything! So i was wondering if my metabolism has started speeding up. thanks!

My BFF is acting like a girl player, kinnda. She will go out with any guy that asks and she does w/e they want. I mean she hasn't gotten as far as ACTUAL sex, but she has had guys finger her. She only did this cause i told her she was WAY TO YOUNG to have sex. Me and my other friend are REALLY scared that she will go all the way with a guy that she dosen't love! Plus she says that protection for sex is "over-rated and the pull out method is better". And she says that she will have sex when she wants and has stated that she probly will on her next date with her bf that is like a SENOIR!!! Shes only a freshman!Help me! i don't want her to get pregnant! Shes too young!

Weight Loss

I asked a few weeks ago about losing 20 lbs in 2 months, and apparently it's too extreme. So I guess I'm lowering my goal to 15 lbs. (17f/145 lbs/163cm)
My diet so far includes:
breakfast - rye bread with jam / green tea (I have nothing else to drink)
lunch - rice with chicken breast or noodles in soup with lettuce
dinner - more rice with either eggs/chicken/fish/pork/beef etc. with various vegetables on the side
Snacks - baked pretzels, cheerios or seaweed
I exercise 3-4 days a week, 1 1/2 - 2 hr @ a gym, burning off anywhere in between 400 to 600 calories (depending on how much time I spend there). I do not do muscle training because it's always too crowded ...

Hey everyone, I have broadband internet but my internet is running slow at the moment.
It's not my computer, my computer is fine and so is MSN/AIM. It's just when I try to load a webpage it takes forever to load, and when I try to watch a YouTube video it takes forever to load. I've scanned my computer and it hasn't picked up on any viruses/trojans so I don't know what to do.
I have unlimited usage so that's not the problem.
I don't know what to do.

wats the difference between platnium and just normal ps2 games??
i mean i bought some ps2 games ( i dont have a ps2 console yet getting one soon.. i know "why get games when you dont have da console? it was on special lol ) and it said platnium.
like do i need a special console to play them or something?? or can i play it with a normal ps2 as well??

ok so like people always say you cant get STDs if you havent been sexually active unless you were born with them, but like is that really common to be born with STDs or is it rare? if your parents had any are you gaurenteed to have them also?

Parents are always arguing and my mums leaveing my dad and i love my dad but he is really strict so dont tell me i have to decide who be with cause i have ! well my dad has diabetes and it's really bad it awlays goes above 20 and 30 and im to scared to leave him alone sick but i know if i be around him im just gonna end up in tears i don't my fmaily torn apart any advice ?

OK this is the situation i broke up with my bf we hadn't been going out long. This girl in my class had liked him all the time we had been going out and about 2 days after we broke up she asked him out (which is really lame!)He said yes and they are going out now should i be angry that it had been only 2 days since we had broken up or should i get over it?

im having trouble installing CS3. whenever i try to install it says i have internet explorer open, or it says "ZIP damaged: file Photoshop TryOut..Photoshop CS2..Adobe(R) Photoshop (R) CS2..commonfilesinstaller..data1.cab: Bad CRC 87c06f16 (should be 849f8400). Possible cause: file transfer error."
what can i do to fix it?

i`m 16 and i have been dating my boyfriend of 18 for over a year. we hang out constantly, every day. we decided to take a break this weekend and make it a friends weekend. we both decided on this and were happy with it. then he asks me if i want to be single for this weekend - like pretend he doesn't exist and hookup with other guys. why would he ask this?! i said NO right away, and he was like i don't either i was just asking. why would he ask that randomly?!
