Metabolism

Question Posted Friday July 13 2007, 12:25 pm

Ok, this might sound like an odd question, but is it possible to speed up your metabolism? i.e. I have been dieting for three weeks, so last night, I decided to splurge. I had a lot of cookies and brownies and thing like that. I weighed myself this morning, (i weighed yesterday morning too.) and I haven't gained anything! So i was wondering if my metabolism has started speeding up. thanks!

It's also a good idea to only weigh yourself once at week, at the same time of day, to get a 'true' idea about any weight loss.
:)

yes it is possible, normally that happens with excercise and a good diet. So yes i believe your metabolism is starting to speed up. If you continue excercising you virtually can eat almost anything(in moderation). Also if you like green tea that can help boost your metabolism as well.
