boyfriend..help!
i`m 16 and i have been dating my boyfriend of 18 for over a year. we hang out constantly, every day. we decided to take a break this weekend and make it a friends weekend. we both decided on this and were happy with it. then he asks me if i want to be single for this weekend - like pretend he doesn't exist and hookup with other guys. why would he ask this?! i said NO right away, and he was like i don't either i was just asking. why would he ask that randomly?!

and asking you first was good to see what your reaction is because then he wont be like i want to if thats ok, because he probably knew that you would say no.
or he could have been testing you to see what you say, but its most likely that he wants to be single for the weekend

to me it sounds like you were implying that you hook up with other people this weekend. so i think he was just checking to make sure you two were on the same wavelength. it's better for him to ask than think that you were going to hook up with people and then go and have a grand old time.

damn...how weird.If i were you i wouldnt have said no,i woulda said,do YOU want to be single for the weekend and hookup with girls??Because theres gotta be a reason to why he asked that and im POSITIVE if he loved you truely hed like die if you dated other guys and wouldnt want a break from someone he loved.Ask him again,hey remember when you asked me blah blah...well do YOU want to be single for the weekend and hookup with girls?If he says yes then he asked you that in the start because HE is the one that wanted a break.Its because youve been going out with him for a whole year non stop!you shouldnt go out with a guy every single day man hell get bored,although he shouldnt if he truely loves you with all his heart.

It sounds to me like he wanted to be single this weekend. I suppose he figured if you pretended to be so can he. He probably wants to hook up with some other girls and just have something different for a change. I'm not saying that is true, but that's just what I'm getting from it. I'd ask him about it though.
