I've been dancing for over 5 years. and i love it. but recently i've been getting way too much work and i've been skipping dance (to get it all done) my mom told me its time for me to quit dance...and maybe start something new..idk what i want to doo.

Dress stores help plzz?

I am a 13 year old girl from Scarborough Ontario Canada.
I'm 150 inches tall which is not that tall for grade 8. I'm looking for stores in my area or on the internet for gr. 8 grad dresses. Do you know any good websites or stores? This is like prom style;e grad where everyone gets dressed up and everything. The dress has to be up to my ankles or longer.

greasy hair problem causing anger

hi
i wash my hair everyday
and twice a week i use perscribed dandruff shampoo
even before the dandruff shampoo, my hair had been greasy on at the roots and under-layers.
i always make sure to rinse for about 5 or more minutes with warm water.
i also don't put conditioner on my roots.
i also only comb my hair out after the shower
and in the morning.
AHHH I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE MY HAIR UN-GREASY !
it started becoming greasy around novemberish i think.
i have used paprya shampoo, the cheap ones also, garnier frutese and aussie, but all for normal hair.
i also know i can put baby-powder in my hair but i heard that causes breathing problems.
i don't wan...

should i shave down there? i did and i dont think i did it right. which way do i shave? like towards where the hair grows or against it. you know what i mean? like..can you just explain howww i should shave downt there? thanks SO much, you guys are too cool. =)

Lotions

There was a conversation about lotions and essential oils. Usually, certain oils are used in lotions to help with dryness such as almond oil or other vegetable oils. I heard that if they are absorbed by the skin, it can actually turn into fat. That seems completely ridiculous to me. Has anyone heard of this or is it just rumor?? Is there any lotion that does this?? Or does the skin just not work that way?? Any ideas?? thanks!!

im 15/f and i like this 17/m.
we both go to the same school. he is a senior and i am a sophmore. yeah i know it seems pointless, and your probably saying to yourself that im dumb because he will graduate with in a few months. I really really like him though and he really really likes me. He has asked me to be his "girlfriend" ..so ill put it, and i said no because i feel i will just be heartbroken in the end because he is graduating. The thing is though I really want to go out with him and be his girlfriend but I have horrible realtionship issues, and I feel i will become attached and it will all just go down hill from there. I really need some advice please help me if you can. Thank you so much.

Lump on my hip

I think it was Friday, and I was in the tanning bed. I was feeling around my hips, and I felt like a lump. But it moves around. Like first it will be like on my inner hip, but move out to the outer hip. Its right around my hip bone. Its mainly on the inner hip area. But I can move it to the outer. I asked my nursing teacher what it was, and she said she wasn't sure. When I first found it I started crying bc I thought it was cancer. But I really have no idea what it is. I showed my mom, and she said we'll get it checked out. My teacher said she thinks it might be a cyste(spelling)but she's really not sure. Any ideas??
Btw I play basketball, cheerlead, and do gymnastics. If that may help any?

What College?

Can anyone tell me a college that fits the following criteria? I want a school thats pretty with really nice dorms. My grades are like on average B (with some C's some A's). I have a decent amount of extra curriculars and volunteer work...and i play squash for school (but not well)Deffinatly not a City school...with like a medium size student body- but on the smaller size.
Any help you can give me would be great!

alright, this question really doesnt involve all you advicenator memebers to think that much, haha. All i want from you guys is to tell me about a relationship you had (guys and girls) that lasted for about over a year but then broke up. Why did you? Wasnt it hard because it was over a year? How is it now? What did you do after the break up? Im 15, male, and sophomore in highschool with a girlfriend for about a year. suggestions on helping to improve grades

My daughter is in the third grade. We have been having problems the past few years getting her to do good work. Her grades are slipping farther and farther down.
We have tried to work with her with her studies. We have made notecards for her to study. We have also gone through everything with her. We have made flash cards to learn math. She just doesn't do the work at school.
I can't afford to take her to specialty "tutoring" schools. I have tried contacting the local school board about tutors that can help her with her studies. I have done everything imaginable to get her on the right track, but nothing seems to work.
My questions are: how do I help her to get her grades back up? How ...

Vaseline- is it bad??

I just read that the EU has banned the use of Vaseline in Cosmetic products due to concerns that it may be carcinogenic.
Is this true? Is good old Vaseline linked to cancer?
These days, it seems that everything is labeled as "carcinogenic,"...with all the crap we're exposed to, I don't know if vaseline should top our list of concerns.
But I am still curious, I read about it, but wanted to know for sure: is vaseline really all that bad?
