I just read that the EU has banned the use of Vaseline in Cosmetic products due to concerns that it may be carcinogenic.
Is this true? Is good old Vaseline linked to cancer?
These days, it seems that everything is labeled as "carcinogenic,"...with all the crap we're exposed to, I don't know if vaseline should top our list of concerns.
But I am still curious, I read about it, but wanted to know for sure: is vaseline really all that bad?
Same with eletrical cords containing lead. If you chew on them, or live your life wrapped in them, you could expose yourself to high levels of it. So long as you're not eating Vaseline by the spoonfull you're fine.

It's not a definite, but a most likely not. I mean, this product has been around for ages! By now, I think they would have known if the petroleum jelly caused cancer. [I'm pretty sure it doesn't or a lot of people would be getting cancer since it is like a household item]
