Why doesnt it ever work out?

Why is it that life always takes a dump on the nice guys and gives all the great shit to the assholes who dont deserve it? Im fed up with it, Im nothing but nice to people and i love being the nice, sweet guy, but why is it so hard to be happy? All these jerks get everything, why? Do i have to be an asshole to get what i want? Nice guys never get the girl...

Curling Thin, Straight Hair Safely?

I am really wanting to curl my hair a bit and give it more style but I've never done anything of the sort and am not sure where to start.
My hair is long, very straight, and quite thin. It gets greasy fast. Even if I do not blow-dry it, it will dry completely straight.
I've seen curling irons but am not sure which one to buy and which ones are safest on hair. I have also seen rollers/curlers but, again, I'm not sure what type I need that'd be safe for my hair type. I also am not sure what sort of hairspray or other sort of product would not weigh my hair down too much.
How do I curl it safely and what products should be purchased? Suggestions (even on products) would be great. Step-by-step "How to Curl Hair" is appreciated. Specifics are excellent!

i've been shaving *down there* for a while now, but a day afterwards i always get red bumps and occasionally i accidentally cut myself there and i always have to wait like three weeks before i can shave again because it isn't long enough.
...does anyone know how to wax?
does it hurt?
how often should you do it?

ive been really upset lately

hmm, where to start? Well, im a 13 year old girl. Everyone thinks that im this perfect girl, with a smile on her face everyday. But, on the inside i want to cry. No one knows that im feeling the way I am. I am so fake, that that makes me upset. Im like a prep. But, once I get home, I go upstairs and just cry. I dont know why this happens, or why im even crying. It might be because my friends are mad at me? That i got in trouble with the law recently and am going through that? That my parents dont trust me? That im failing school? hmm, im not sure. But I know the outcome is very upsetting. I cry myself to sleep, i've tried to cut but stopped. How though, im getting addicted to snapping hairbands on my wrist. And, ive wrapped my scarf around ...

my boyfriend (16) and i (16) have both explicitly and bluntly expressed to eachother that we'd like to have sex and think we're ready. we have been dating for 6 months and i don't trust anyone in the world as much as i trust him.
there's no way in hell i could ever tell my mom that i wanted to have sex, she'd flip a lid. however, i really want to be careful and don't want to run the risk of becoming pregnant. i'm curious about birth control, is there an over-the-counter brand that i could get without a doctors note?
more importantly, anyone with prior expierience... how were you able to do it and get away with it?

iPod Won't Work?

I can't seem to get my iTunes to Sync the songs into my iPod Nano. I've tried the following:
-changing the cords I've been using to connect the iPod to the iTunes
-Restart computer
-going back to the Apple menu and starting over
Still, it doesn't seem to be working!
PS: My brother and I got into a fight today and he threw a tantrum. I happened to be listenting to my iPod at the moment and he whacked my hand so that the earphones disconnected from the iPod and the iPod fell to the floor (it hurt like heck). I think that might be a possibility... Ugh, I'm going to KILL my brother if it's his fault...

Backstabbing

Okay, about a week ago. BIG DRAMA happened between me and my 2 closest friends. My 1 friend Abbie told Katie that I was spreading bad rumors about her saying that she was a slut, and has had sex. Which, I never did and I told both of them that. But, Katie dosent believe me. Then, at the lunch table, Katie was whispering to Abbie and our other friends about me. I couldnt stand it, cause they would whisper then look at me and laugh. I seriously wanted to cry. Just when me and Abbie became friends again, Katie told Abbie that I was talking shit bout her. ohh ohh, itchy itchy

Okay, right after I shave down there. Its always really itchy and I get alot of little red dots on the side of my thigh, what wear people get bikin waxed. A few monthes ago, the same thing was happening, so I stopped shaving. And, the itchiness dissapeared, along with the dots. I dont want to stop shaving, cause, you know....But, any advice on whats happening and what I should do?

Okay, back when I was in 6 and 7th grade, I was very popular. But, when I started going through puberty I guess I changed. I just went down the hill. Im still pretty popular, I guess. Valentine Day Help, ASAP

Hello EVERYONE! This is my first Valentine's Day that I really cared/loved the person that was my valentine. My boyfriend is sooo sweet and I want to do something totally different. He has to work on Valentine's Day, so what i have come up with so far, is placing a cd that i've made for him with all the songs that remind me of him in the cd player, so he'll be listening to it on his way to my house, i've brought him a shirt, he jus recently got a new car, so i took a pic with him today on the car, and i have the prettiest frame that describes him with that picture in it. Now I am stuck. what else can i get him? Please help, do you think my idea is cute and different, I would really like your input, thank you!

How to loose some pounds

I used to play basketball all the time and that is how i would stay in shape. But i got cut from the team and now im not as active as i used to be. I have gained a little weight in my thighs and butt. I was just wondering if anyone knew how i could tone it up in time for summer.

so, do ALL nail polish, no matter what kind, strenghthen your nails? or is just the kind that says its a nail strengthner? cause i use a clear sally hanson, and it dosent say it will strenthen. thanks alot!
