Question Posted Tuesday February 12 2008, 10:01 pm
I am really wanting to curl my hair a bit and give it more style but I've never done anything of the sort and am not sure where to start.
My hair is long, very straight, and quite thin. It gets greasy fast. Even if I do not blow-dry it, it will dry completely straight.
I've seen curling irons but am not sure which one to buy and which ones are safest on hair. I have also seen rollers/curlers but, again, I'm not sure what type I need that'd be safe for my hair type. I also am not sure what sort of hairspray or other sort of product would not weigh my hair down too much.
How do I curl it safely and what products should be purchased? Suggestions (even on products) would be great. Step-by-step "How to Curl Hair" is appreciated. Specifics are excellent!
For products, I would suggest some heat resistant mousse or spray-and use the smallest amount possible.
That'll be fine.
After, use some styling spray.
The best thing to do though is to ask your hair stylist because s/he knows what would be the best for your hair. [ Disconnected's advice column | Ask Disconnected A Question ]
