Q: Hey. Well, I'm 14/f. So I'm going to have to start saving my money, and kinda quick. See, I've been saving coins (pennies, quarters, dimes, ect.) for my family's vacation this coming summer, so when we go shopping I have a lot of money to shop with. And then I take my coins to the bank and they turn it into cash. Also, I've been saving money for my trip to Ireland for next summer, so I have money to shop with there also. I get $10 each weekend for allowance, and I've been taking $5 of that back for Ireland. But heres my problem. Yesterday, my iPod broke, so now I have to save up for a new one! I'm soo mad about that. Well, my parents said they would pay for half of my iPod. Well, I'm a HUGE shopaholic. Like, I always want new clothes and stuff. I always get my clothes on sale, but still, it's like an addiction :). My parents said that if I started doing even more stuff around the house, they would give me money, so that takes some of my problem away, because I'll use that money to save for my iPod. But how am I supposed to save money for this summers vacation, trip for Ireland next summer, new iPod, and a little shopping here and there???? Please don't tell me to get a job because I'm not into that right now at my age. I would be willing to babysit, but I don't really have anyone to babysit. So please, help! I want my iPod within the next 2-3 months. Thanks!

Q: I have an 80 GB iPod Classic/Video that won't seem to turn off.

When I first ran into this problem, I reset my iPod by holding down the middle button and the menu button, but it still wouldn't turn off. I then tried to restore my iPod, but even after doing that it still wouldn't turn off. I have since tried resetting it some fifty millions times, but it still won't turn off.

Lately I've just been letting the battery run out and then charging it back up. Obviously, that can't be too good for the iPod, but it's the only thing I can do.

The iPod is relatively new. I've only had it since around November, maybe. My mom had bought it a few months before then, but had never touched it. It's not the newest version of the iPod classic/video, if that helps.

I don't know what else to do or try, so if anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it!

Q: my ipod was stolen out of my car yesterday and it is still under warranty until next christmas. if i file a police report does anybody know if apple will give me a new iPod? thanks!

Q: This takes a little explaining.. High school drama stinks..
I had this really great guy friend, we'll call him David, and one day in October 2006 I realized that I felt more than friendship for him. I was totally in love with him. I told him on New Year's Eve and it really seemed like he had the same feelings and we started hanging out and stuff and we were pretty much "unofficially" going out. Another girl at school, we'll call Brook, who has a very bad reputation and is not not to be mean but is not at all attractive, liked him a lot as well. I found out on Valentine's Day last year that they were officially going out. I was crushed and depressed. David and I were no longer friends and she rubbed it in my face that she got him and I didn't. They dated, but never communicated at all, they only text messaged, nothing else, until right after school started back this year and she broke up with him for another guy I liked, we'll call Pablo. She started dating him, so David and I had slowly gotten our friendship back and he fell for me. I made sure he had no feelings for Brook, and he assured me he didn't. We started going out and had an amazing relationship. We spent all our free time togther and fell in love so fast. It was amazing and we both loved each other so much and had even talked seriously about a future.. All in the six weeks we went out.. One morning he said "we need to talk" and he took me in the hall at school and he had realized that he was still in love with Brook and he had just used me to make her jealous. He had called her the night before and told her and she was breaking up with Pablo the same day. The next day David and Brooke were back together. Me, David, and Pablo are all Christians. David has put on a huge front and is being extremely immature about everything, and his whole life has turned into an act. He could be an absolutely amazing person, but has made some horrible descisions and gotten caught up with Brook. I think they're having sex as well. David always wanted more from me, but I never realized that. I'm still kinda friends with David because I'm still in love with him. Does anybody have any advice whatsoever for this? I love David and it's killing me to see him throw himself away like this. He always has the most sad and lost look in his eyes, and he's completely lost. I want to do anything I can to help him, but I really don't know what to do. I kinda also still have feelings for Pablo and things between us might work out soon. Any advice whatsoever would help! My life is so messed up and I really need some advice on helping it get back on track. I'm spending tons of time in prayer for everybody in this situation, and I just need direction.

Q: I am really wanting to curl my hair a bit and give it more style but I've never done anything of the sort and am not sure where to start.
My hair is long, very straight, and quite thin. It gets greasy fast. Even if I do not blow-dry it, it will dry completely straight.
I've seen curling irons but am not sure which one to buy and which ones are safest on hair. I have also seen rollers/curlers but, again, I'm not sure what type I need that'd be safe for my hair type. I also am not sure what sort of hairspray or other sort of product would not weigh my hair down too much.
How do I curl it safely and what products should be purchased? Suggestions (even on products) would be great. Step-by-step "How to Curl Hair" is appreciated. Specifics are excellent!

Not that my religious view matter in this question but I am not Christian which might explain my perplexity to the situation.


In class today we were reading a play and my teacher announced that if we come by a profound word we do not have to say it. A student in my class came across "God!" as she was reading out loud and replaced the word with "Jesus!" because she claimed saying God's name in vain is wrong. I know this girl is Christian.


I completely agree that we should not use God's name in vain but why should Jesus's name be any different? I of course snapped at the girl and asked about the situation. She could not give me a straight answer so I'm wondering if someone else can. Or was she just an idiotic high school student
