going to mexico in 2 weeks!

so i will be in mexico at the barcelo maya palace resort which looks GORGEOUS! just wondering? has anyone traveled to mexico/have any tips on must sees? i will be near tulum and chichen itza (ancient mayan ruins) which i will definitely be touring.
but any tips on how the mexican citizens are? anyone think i could hire a taxi driver for the day to take us around for like $60?
-dealing with customs at cancun airport. are they friendly?mean? i hear stories of them charging people for "overweight bags" when they really arent
any other tips/advice/experiences/ is appreciated?

Hi, I'm sixteen and I'm having the typical boy issues. I can't go to my friends about it cause all they do is bring the topic back to themselves.
So I'm a junior in high school. I've never been kissed and i've never dated anyone. I feel so extremely lame. Some of my best friends have already had year long relationships and had sex. A girl I played on a u16 hockey team with just gave birth to her baby. Its totally not like I want to have sex, I just feel so lame not having even been kissed. so i am like.. in love with my best guy friend. we are both 15 years old. we had liked each other about 2 months ago but he also liked another girl. him and i hooked up and stuff but after a while he started to like the other girl more. it was confusing on how they got together but he wasnt trying to be a jerk to me. now him and her are broken up because she was a jerk to him. should i make a move on him? im scared to do anything with him because i dont want to get hurt and he doesnt know that i like him still. half of me doesnt want him to know anyway.

I'm confused. how come the firefighters didnt just put trampolines to catch the jumpers so they didnt all have to die? i know they werent prepared but after seeing dozens of people jump why didnt they? i cant imagine it.. i mean falling thousands of feet going at 150 mph.. which takes like 10 seconds from a high floor. and i hear that some people got killed from being hit by these jumpers.. can someone just explain to me how it was like and why they died when they hit the floor? and did their bodies totally break apart or pretty much stay intact? and what do you think was going through their minds as they were about to hit the ground or were about to jump? oh and why werent there hellicopters there to rescue people? i saw a vid on youtube w...

im 17f and asian-american and starting a few years ago, i have been having trouble w/ confidence. for instense- when i'd be at the mall or something and saw people walking in my direction i would look the other direction or stare at the ground until we passed. i always think that people are thinking or saying bad things about me. yes, people have put me down, but people have also complimented me twice as much. im sure everyone has experience this though, but insults seem to weigh more heavily so i guess thats part of the problem of worrying so much about what others think of me. i understand that people have their own opinions, but its just confusing.
up until now i have been trying to overcome this but i still can't help but...

Ok, so 15/f...
I get along with pretty much everyone in my class. But, there's this one girl who just goes out of her way to bother me =( It's like effecting my self esteem. I don't understand why she acts this way. Like, I'll just be sitting there and she'll say something funny so I'll laugh and next thing I know she's all like "Did I tell you you could laugh?!" Ugh I hate her. But I can't just ignore her because I feel so totally stupid and self-conscious because of the way she calls me out in front of everyone =(

I need to make some friends. I used to have friends last year, but this year (sophmore), I just can't seem to make any or hang out with anyone. I stopped caring about my hair and myspace and facebook...stuff like that. Could that be a reason that people have stopped liking me? I just need to know a way to make friends and stand out from all the people like me. I don't want to be like everyone else and I want the girls that I sometimes hang out with to like me. These girls are the kind that guys think are sooo "hot" and "can't wait til they turn 18." They hang out with skater boys (i'm jealous) and are really really pretty.
My life pretty much just sucks in general :)

Well Im in 8th grade and hes in 6th grade. Im 13. Hes 12. He really cute. Well last night was our last school dance. I thought i should ask him to dance because he wont be at the dances next year because ill be at the high school and i would have to wait for 2 years. Well one of my friends boyfriend is his friend. So my friends ask him to ask the guy i like if he would dance with me. He said yeah and he asked me. He asked if i had a boyfriend and why i didnt have one and stuff like that. How do you block certain websites? I got in a fight with my lil brother and I completely had it. He's always using my computer and leaving it a total mess. He plays dumb games and starts abusing the keyboard, and doesn't get off when I need to use it for homework and starts crying like a baby. Anyways I see that he only goes to certain kiddie websites, so I wanna know how to block accessibility of certain websites. That way he might give and leave my computer alone.
