This girl in my class =(
Ok, so 15/f...
I get along with pretty much everyone in my class. But, there's this one girl who just goes out of her way to bother me =( It's like effecting my self esteem. I don't understand why she acts this way. Like, I'll just be sitting there and she'll say something funny so I'll laugh and next thing I know she's all like "Did I tell you you could laugh?!" Ugh I hate her. But I can't just ignore her because I feel so totally stupid and self-conscious because of the way she calls me out in front of everyone =(

Ohhh I wrote a long answer to this and my connection went down, so let's try again and I will shorten it up.
A girl like this will only understand sarcasm..she is the type that can dish it out and not take it. But if you continue to take her abuse she will continue to dish it out.
Come up with some coy and cunning comebacks..make a list of them and that way you will be prepared to say something that insults her right back. I'd only say one thing at a time, and just simply smile and turn away if she challenges you. She will look like more the fool that she is.
For example, If she says "Did I tell you I could laugh?" say "Well, whenever I look at your face the laughter just takes over" Or "Since when do I ever listen to what YOU tell me to do"..then end it with silence. It will make her really uncomfortable...and that's your goal.

Well she's a bitch. Totally don't worry about her, and I mean your not being bullied but you should look up on Google.com "Kristina Calco" and read her story about what happend.
She commited suicide because of things like this, but her condition was WAY worse. So its good your at least on this, because your talking about it and we're all here to help, and we're on your side(:
And, she's probobly doing that because she's jealous of you, and she probobly says things like "Did I tell yoiu you could laugh?!" Because she feels like, you won't say anything back to her, so she can say what she wants, which she can't. If I were you I would say "Oh kay, whatever.." and give her some sass,
and see what she does. If she EVER gets physical with you, TELL SOMEONE RIGHT AWAY. Or if she threats you do that to! You could also try to make friends with her, but sometimes people don't understand that that doesn't always work. You could also have a friend with you that you trust, and will help you stick up for yourself? A lot of people have self esteem issues all over the place, so don't feel alone!
Even I do. Everyone is insecure, or at least most normal people. But anyways, I know the feeling of being called out infront of everyone, but call her out to. Say something that you know will make her look way more stupid. Look at it through her point of view, and if you said that to someone, think of a comeback you would hate for someone to say to you. If that makes sence. And use it! Dont let her walk all over you.

the person below me is right. noone should push you around. i used to be this way also. but i stand up for myself now so people dont usually mess with me. if you let people mess with you it definely lowers your self asteem and your abviously worth more then her. so mayb next time you should say "i dont need your approval to laugh" maybe add a little "i can laugh if i want to" you know nothing like oh i want to fight you type but just something to show her that your going to stand up for yourself. dont let anyone push you around. xoxo

just say "did i tell you, you could tell me when to laugh? ugh NO...."
if she wants to get smart with you, then get smart back. Everyone might say ignore her but trust me it only makes it worse. And you thinking down of yourself is exactly what SHE wants. Why bc she feels that way. I know its cliche but its true. Dont be afraid to stand up to her. Bark is worse than her bite.
