Birth Control

I really need to get on birth control. is there somewhere i can buy it just like over the counter? or do i have to go to the gynecologist? i am scared to go to gyno because i definitely don't want to be checked out. if i go to a local health clinic would they have to tell my parents? i'm 18 but i'm still under their insurance.

Face Scars

I have a lot of scars around my mouth from picking scabs from pimples and cold sores. they're darker then the rest of my face and it's really embarassing. i used to be able to get out of the house with no make up and look fine. but with these nasty scars i feel like i always need make up to cover them. unfortunatley make up causes me to break out more. Anyway, what are some home remedies or products i can buy to fade the scars? i'm willing to spend the money! also what's a good concealer for the scars?

I don't know what to do

Okay so I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 3 months now, and I am on SSI "Social Security disability" I also filled out a housing application. (State Housing) The problem is.. I can't add my boyfriend to my lease!!! and I'm about to move out soon. My boyfriend an I want to get an apartment together but I have no money in the bank... and I don't know how it would ever work out because of the whole money thing and the cost for regular apartments and I'm worried on how this is all going to work out.. and argh I don't know what too do!

i talk to my guyfriend a lot, and we enjoy playing games via facebook. games like
(1) truth or dare without the dare
(2) awkward truth
(3) word association games (e.g., he says "llama" i say "animal")
(4) games where we have to think of a word starting with the last letter of the last word said (e.g., "clock" "kid" "depend")
can anyone else suggest other games that i could play with him? we tried would you rather but it didn't work out too well cause it required too much thought and we couldn't think of good ones even when we used the internet.

Okay, so I'm 17/f and I really like the kind of clean, fast improvisation that artists like Demi Lovato add to the end of their musical phrases (not that I liked Camp Rock). I just wanted to know how one would go about learning how to do this. Does it take slow practice, or is that just a style that they have always had? I also would like to know some good warm up techniques for a voice. Any help would be much appreciated!

I always hear from people that high school is supposed to be the best time of your life. That this is the time when you find yourself. Well, I haven't exactly found myself yet, which is alright I suppose since I'm just going into sophomore year.
But I am a little worried. I've reached a point due to a horrible first year of high school where I just don't care about who likes me or if I have friends.
Basically the only thing I'm counting on to get me through this hellhole called school is that college, marriage, and kids will be better.

Last year I started cutting myself. My friend told me why she cut, and after I was extremely depressed and so I decided to try it. To my surprise it actually calmed me and felt good. And for the next year it was a coping mechanism for me. But I stopped three months ago and vowed never to hurt myself again. But it is so hard not to. Sometimes its all I think about. what can I do to keep me from cutting again?? Please help me.

i don't know what it is... i've tried virtually everything .... went to a counselor and all....
but yeah i am not sure what is wrong with me......... i am having difficulties describing what i am feeling... depression anxiety fear paranoia panic loneliness claustrophobia phobia of being alone! i don't know i am mixed up! its all together... please can anyone help?

so here is the deal...
i met this great guy a year ago, but it was over the computer so i have never met him in my life. he is the sweetest guy i hav ever met but he is a "bad boy". He has a baby girl and the girlfriend died after she gave birth. He has dropped out of school and cant drive. Just to add to all my problems he is in the hospital and it is extremely serious. He isnt online that much so i rearely talk to him. I dont know if I should end it now before I get in too deep or if I should stick by him and hope things get better. Do I follow my head or my heart?

Lying to get money?

I've been friends with this guy since I was in 10th grade. I'm 23 now, so we've been friends for awhile. Recently, I got a phone call from this friend. He said that he was upset and he needed to talk. To make a long story short, he needed to borrow $80 to get himself to and from a funeral that was three hours away. I of course lend him the money.
The problem is, he lied about WHY he needed the money. There was no funeral he was attending. His friend didn't die like he said. He was going to some 3-day camping trip with like 500 other people.
He said he would pay me back on the first of the month and that's fine. But should I approach him about the fact that he lied to get money? Or leave it alone?

i always see girls whose eye make-up looks SO pretty, but it hardly looks like they have anything on. maybe just mascara and a littttle eyeliner on the bottom. whenever i try to use only a little bit like that, it backfires and seriously doesnt look like i have hardly anything on, and my eyes look nothing like theirs and just look bad. i usually do my eye makeup kinda heavy. not overdone but it's so my eyes are played up, and even then i sometimes still dont like it. what am i doing wrong here? any tips? and dont send me to websites please, i'd love personal advice.
