Question Posted Sunday August 24 2008, 9:37 pm

i always see girls whose eye make-up looks SO pretty, but it hardly looks like they have anything on. maybe just mascara and a littttle eyeliner on the bottom. whenever i try to use only a little bit like that, it backfires and seriously doesnt look like i have hardly anything on, and my eyes look nothing like theirs and just look bad. i usually do my eye makeup kinda heavy. not overdone but it's so my eyes are played up, and even then i sometimes still dont like it. what am i doing wrong here? any tips? and dont send me to websites please, i'd love personal advice.

I have blue eyes & blonde hair toooo(:

I hate my blonde lashes also! I start by using a light, shimmery shadow by Physicians Formula (it's an 'eye definer', grey case --only one color). I then curl my lashes and apply Maybelline Volum' Express Mascara -- I swear by it! Don't get the waterproof one though(it doesn't hold the curl as well), get the tube with the grey top. It's the best mascara out there by far. I then usually finish it up by lining my lower lash line with black Rimmel eyeliner.

you could also try applying a shimmery eyeshadow cream and mascara which loox really cute light pink maybe for a more natural look with light lip gloss. or for a played up look dark blue eyeshadow and blk eyeliner on top with dark mascara ...super sexy.

hey. i only wear concealer, mascara, eyeliner & blush. i have naturally really dark hair, eyelashes and eyebrows, so i think the problem might be that you have lighter eyelashes so it looks fake when you wear veryy dark eyeliner. so the girls you're looking at probably have very dark hair! i'd try going for a different color eyeliner or mascara (maybe a brown tone) to make it look less like you're wearing make-up. remember, if you have pretty eyes like blue, green or hazel, try a navy eyeliner! i hear that navy eyeliner looks really good on people with bright eyes. or if you're blonde with brown eyes, definitely go for a brown eyeliner. see if that helps!

EDIT:
right yeah definitely try the navy out, girl. it should definitely work out well for you!
