Hey guys!! I have a birth control question. I got prescribed, and my doctor told me to start it the Friday after my period. But my period ended that Friday, so I was ganna wait until this Friday.
But I forgot already! Good start, right? So then I started it today, and my question is.. if this can hurt me? I'm not having sex, so I don't mean that in relation to pregnancy.
And can I drink on the pill?

I started talking to this guy (jake) that I go to school with a few weeks ago. We really hit it off and now we've been going out for a week. I really like him a lot and I can tell he really likes me too. My friends and people that know him at school tell me to be careful around him and telling me that he's a pervert and he wants sex and stuff like that. He does not seem like the kind f guy that these people are telling me he is. He is really sweet and hasn't even tried to pressure me into anything. I trust him be with all these things that I've heard about him it makes me nervous. Do you think he's just putting on an act to get in my pants? I plan to confront him about what I've heard but I'm not sure how to bring it up. What do you guys think?

I am 16 and I am looking to apply for a job at rite aid. I have not had any employment experience before. I got the application today, and they barely ask you anything!
They ask me if I am under 18, but not if i am 16 or over and i am almost positive you can get a job there at 16.
They ask for employment experience (which i have NONE of), but not volunteer experience which i have TONS of
is it possible to have the application and then attachhh something i write about myself? or is that dumb...
somebody please help me!

Ok... I basically just led some guy on... I met him on myspace and he added me because he was just adding random people and I live in the same town as him. Well I always talk to everyone who adds me... I don't like adding people as friends until I at least have one conversation with them. Whats with the bases

When someone asks you "how far have you gone with your BF/GF" I don't get the whole "bases" responce.
Like what does 1st base mean? And 2nd? 3rd? And is there a 4th base?

I'll keep this one short and sweet. I am a fourteen-year-old freshman girl. Well, I have a friend who apparently is bi-sexual, and asked out one of his friends who is a boy, and the friend said he didn't want to spoil their friendship, so it was dropped. But then, about a month later, my friend asked me out. Should I be insulted? I mean, I am in no way against gays or anything, but it is a little... I don't know. I do dress kind of boyish I will admit. I dress in zip-up hoodies that I find on sale in the men’s department, but I didn't know it was THAT bad. Should I take a hint, and change myself? Or, am I just over reacting?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help! :)

Is NYU a good school to go to for pre med? I want to become a dermatologist. If so I want to know how to get into NYU. What is the average weighted and unweighted gpa needed to get in for premed? Whats the average SAT score needed to get in? What are ACT's, and whats the average score needed? Condoms and Emergency Contraceptive

I am trying to get on birth control but my appointment isn't for a few weeks. I had sex last night with my boyfriend with a condom, which did not break. Also, when he came, he came in the condom which was not in me at that moment. I have Emergency Contraceptive at my house just incase...Should I take it to be safe? I took it about three weeks ago, I just am not sure how safe it is to take it that many times. What should I do?

Pregnant?

So this is propably the number one question asked on this site...anyways here it goes. I had sex for the first andonly time ever on March 7th, we used a condom much to my partners dislike, It did break but before it went inside me. It was a spermicende Trojan one. Anyway, the next day I had my period, and it lasted he normal 5 days as usual. I have a very irregular period, and sometimes it can be up to 3 months before I get my next one.It's april 25th and I still havent had it and I have shown no sighns of being pregnant. No morning sickness or dizzyness, or sore boobs, nothing. I am so scared that I am pregnant anyway, could I be?

Cold sores?

My girlfriend has a cold sore, right there on the end of her mouth.
She keeps getting pissed at me because I don't want her to kiss even my cheek or forehead, because it's a freaking cold sore.
She's says it needs saliva, and can only be caught on the eye, mouth or genitals. While I know that, I doubt that it only touching my cheek doesn't mean I can't accidently transfer it around by contact with my hands or any other such thing.
Am I in the right to actually not want her to plant her lips on my cheek until the damned thing vanishes?

Last october, my boyfriend got laid off from his job that he had been at for 5 years. (The reason they chose him to be laid off is BS because it was for personal conflict reasons within the company but that is another story). anyway, the company promised him his job back after the slow winter season.(he could return in spring).
