Pregnant?

Question Posted Saturday April 25 2009, 7:47 am

So this is propably the number one question asked on this site...anyways here it goes. I had sex for the first andonly time ever on March 7th, we used a condom much to my partners dislike, It did break but before it went inside me. It was a spermicende Trojan one. Anyway, the next day I had my period, and it lasted he normal 5 days as usual. I have a very irregular period, and sometimes it can be up to 3 months before I get my next one. It's april 25th and I still havent had it and I have shown no sighns of being pregnant. No morning sickness or dizzyness, or sore boobs, nothing. I am so scared that I am pregnant anyway, could I be?

Hi there,

I imagine the whole pregnancy thing is resolved by now, but I noticed nobody mentioned something else very important:

Get tested for every known STD, and do so again in 6 months, then one year.

With a very irregular period, you might not notice warning signs or complications from STDs.

Please also note: If he says he has been tested... it is a lie. There is no male test for HPV (genital warts+cancer) which seems to be everywhere these days.

Don't mean to scare you, but I would like you to be healthy and live through this mistake if you know what I mean.

I highly doubt you're pregnant. If you were you wouldn't have had your period the next day.

If your period still hasn't come in a month's time and you're worrying, you could take a pregnancy test to put your mind at rest.

But I don't see how you could be pregnant seeing as you got your period the next day.

If the condom didn't break inside you, I really doubt you're pregnant. I mean, as long as he didn't put it in after it was broken, which I doubt he did. I wouldn't worry. Stressing out & worrying over it could also cause your period to be irregular.
