i got my tongue pierced saturday on vacation. the swelling has pretty much completely gone down and i'm pretty anxious to get the long bar out. the guy that pierced me said if i try to change the bar myself, wait about a month bc its hard for some ppl to find the hole to put a new bar in, but that if i go somewhere to get it changed i only have to wait 1-2 weeks. i think i'd be fine to change it sometime next week but is it really difficult to change it yourself the first time? would i be better off to go to a pro to do it for me? if i do it myself, is it easier to go in through the top or bottom? any advice would be great!

Girlfriend on holiday

hi, 17/m, from the UK.
My girlfriend went to the states on the 13th of july. First she went to seattle, and the day she went to sanfrancisco, she text me, and i tried ringing her, but she hasnt picked up since. She went to San Francisco about 4/5days ago. Before that we talked regularly, either texting or talking on the phone- it would cost more but we didnt mind. But now, it goes straight to voice-mail. Like its off, or dead. Any ideas? what could have happened? how do i know if she is ok? i havnt heard from her at all since. thanks a lot.

fox cartoons?

Is fox owned by the democrats or something? Because a lot of fox cartoons (family guy, american dad, the simpsons) make republicans look bad, and the democrats look good. E.g. when it was the election in the simpsons, Homer votes for Obama, but the vote gets processed for Mcain. Then when he points it out, he gets sucked up by the voting machine, and it tries to kill him?
Ive noticed this quite a bit, and was just wondering as it would help me with a project im doing in college. Thanks.

so I just asked the question "siblings bringing up ex bf" and my sister (who has an account on advicenators) answered my question, acting like a victim in a "different situation." I rated her a three (which means decent enough advice) because I thought it was horrible how she was lying. she saw I rated her a three and told me she knew the question was from me, and that she was going to file an abuse report, so she did, saying that she didnt know it was my question, and that I was purposely lowering her rating. help?

I broke up with my boyfriend, we went out for a really long time (a little under a year.) I finally got over it, and now all the time my brother and sister bring up his, just to annoy me. for instance, I will be texting and they will say who are you texting? Tom? something like that. It doesnt bother me that they are trying to annoy me, it hurts me that they are bringing up his name, because it makes me remember when all I want to do is forget. I have tried explaining this to them, and they laugh. another example is when we argue, they will tell me to go suck on toms cock just to be cruel.

ps my siblings are the same age as me so its not like they are younger.

I don't know whether or not my friend really cares about me. My friend complains about me to others and she is selfish and mean and she tells people my secrets. She is funny, smart, and fun to be with. She calls me a horrible friend. She tells me to tell her if she does anything wrong so I did. Then she went to my friend and complained about me. I don't know if I should keep her. She calls me a freak and says to me I like it when people call me that. I don't. She tells people I'm not a real vegetarian, and I look like a boy when my hair is back. She Can be great. When she comes over she plays with my cats more than me.

I'm 17 and so is my boyfriend. He has this cousin who's about 30 years old, maybe a little older. Well his cousin hasn't spoken to my bf in about a year and they live five minutes away from each other.
