Too Late?

The University of Maryland says that in order to be considered for a merit scholarship you have to have your application in by November 1. This might be a stupid question but if I have it in by the middle of november do you think it's possible I would still be considered?

Not having tryouts/unfair

So I have been playing volleyball all year around, for 3 years (yes Im the one that hurt my shoulder haha) Anyway Tryouts are coming up soon for club, I have been on the top team for my club team for every year. Well a couple of my club teammates high school season didnt end yet because they are still in states, so they were told that they didnt have to attend tryouts this year and were automatically put on the team. As if i didnt have enough stress with my shoulder being injured, now I feel like I shouldnt have to go to tryouts either. Should I say something? I have been on the team for as long as they have.

ok so theres this amazing guy i like and i think he might like me 2 but im so bad at these kind of things idk what to do.everytime i see him i get anxious and melt. He looks st me at nutriion and one walked to our classes together. he talked to me the other night over facebook and said he would try to make the football game ..bascially for me. i couldnt go becuase i was grounded. now im so scared to say hi on facebook. This is more of an opinion question I guess, but I have NEVER met a guy that is gorgeous but doesn't know it. I've met a few girls that are really pretty and they are confident and stuff, but theyre not conceited and they dont really realize HOW pretty they are. I just wonder if there are any guys out there like that. It just seems that all the guys that are gorgeous are all into themselves and KNOW they look good. It's different from confidence its self-interest. So I was wondering, do you guys think there are any guys out there that are gorgeous but dont really realize it?

how do you deal with people that constantly need/want attention. Not in a desperate way but people that always like to be the center of attention and talk a lot and always need to have everyone listen to them? i am pretty but i dont talk about it or emphasize it so much but I do have this new friend who is really pretty too and she just likes all this attentions and is always getting it and talking about herself and stuff. idk how to deal with it???

Question about soldering

Hello everyone. I couldn't figure out what category I should put this in, so miscellaneous it is. I guess it's also kind of a jewelry question. One of my jewelry pieces requires me to solder a cabochon to a brass cuff blank. I just want to know if I absolutely have to use flux when soldering. What would be the result if I didn't use flux? The only reason I'm trying to not use it is because I live in the middle of nowhere and I have had extreme difficulty finding a store that would sell flux. By the way, I'm using a soldering iron, not a torch, if that makes any difference. I'm under some time constraints, please help if you can. Thanks!

My girlfriend and I have been together for a year or so. I knew her for a year before things became "official" so to speak. She lives a few states away. We've had great chemistry ever since we met. that first year and up until almost 6 months ago, we hadn't spent much time together in person but last July I went and spent 8 days with her and her family and things became 100x better than they had been. I realized I loved her when I realized that I wanted her to be the best she could be, I wanted her to be safe, I wanted her to be happy no matter what. She has said the same for me and I love her very much. I definitely could see spending the rest of my life with her.

serious skin care

does anyone have tips on how to get soft skin (on the body)? any good specific moisturizer products? good soaps, etc
besides:
- take a daily multivitamin
- drink 8 cups of water a day
- exercise
- exfoliate with a loofah
- after a shower (can't be hot), pat dry with a towel, do not scrub or rub
- apply lotion/moisturizer

Theres a guy at my school who likes me hes not the best looking but hes ok hes a little cute hes muscular but not to much and hes a really nice guy. The types i like are goths emos and skaters but hes neither a while ago his friends who are my friends too told me he likes me hes my friend now and now my admirer is used to talking to me i can tell he still likes me and yea he even tries to show off how strong he is and tries to be funny.....So should i give him a chance?
