i do crunches and run all the time, i'm very athletic and healthy but i have big hips and muscly thighs. i just want to shape my legs a little differently and tone my stomach more. any ideas/tips? thanks!

Hello, I am 17yr/male and I am looking to stay lean and also gain some muscle. I am currently 5'6" and about 125lbs. Since I am at a healthy weight, I would like to maintain this but I also want to gain some muscle as I am a tad scrawny and I heard strengthening muscles is important for teens. What I am looking for is someone qualified (through profession or experience)to give me an exact schedule that I can follow (and repeat weekly) to maintain my weight (cardio, running, treadmill, etc) and also gain muscle (arms, chest, abs, legs, back,, shoulders, etc). All I can find online when I search this is those insane body building sites telling me to pump iron and take supplements-that is not at all what I am looking for. I am looking for...

I'm going to be 14 years old in a month, and I just weighed myself, and discovered that I weigh a whopping 115 pounds!!!!! I'm 5'2"...is this overweight? How can I shed 10 pounds?!?!?!

Can I use Grade A maple syrup if I don't have Grade B?
The recipe says use grade A but I dont have that and I couldnt find it in the store
I google this but got no answers

So this past let's say week or 2 when I wake up in the morning I don't feel good & ibjabe a headache..it eventually goes away but I'm just curious as to what is going on! I've also have not had all that much sleep (maybe 6 or7 hours a night) & I am hungry when I go to bed so u don't know if that has anything to do with it?

I am a very petite person, a little shorter than 5 ft and about 110 lbs. I don't consider myself fat, or skinny. I have a decent size bum, but it seems my midsection has more weight than i would like! I want wider hips and a bigger butt, I am very tiny so many outfits I try on, are not very flattering and usually swallow my small figure. I would like to lose some weight, as well as gain muscle! Any ideas? :) Thanks!

i'll try to make this fast: i'm 21 yrs old, 5'7", and around 170. i've been trying to lose about 30-40 lbs by fall/winter time. anyways, i just wanted to make sure my daily exercise regimen was a good one and i wanted everyone's opinions so i'm not wasting my time. everyday (except sundays) i do: 20-30 mins of running outside, 30 mins of the elliptical OR 1 hour of cycling class (depending on the day), a few reps of weights. would that help me lose weight? thanks in advance

I am a 13 year old girl and I'm about 5'2 or 5'3 and I weigh about 119 pounds. it may not seem bad but I think my thighs are fat or on the larger size. Does anyone know how to get thinner thighs or ones with more muscle? and is my body weight proportional to my height and age and everything? all help is good! :) thanks.

For about 2 months i have been lifting weights 2 hours every other day and playing alot of basketball. I have a slow metabolism but is till do cardio. I have a layer of fat about 1/4 inch over my entire mid section its prolly about half that on my arms if any.
When i jump up and down not flexing my pecks shake quite a bit like jelly. but when i flex theres only a mi nute jiggle. i don't care much because i know theres muscle there. just from a girls pov is it unattractive or attractive?

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone knew any workout/weight loss/whatever tips for losing fat in my upper body? I'm a bit overweight, nothing too bad; I wouldn't call myself "fat". BUT I do believe I look a lot bigger than I really am due to the fact that I have somewhat broad shoulders & tend to retain fat in my arms, upper back, and like, I guess where my armpits are? :/ So that makes me look wide and like I have no boobs haha. Anyway, I know that whatever a person's natural body shape is, that's the way it is, no matter how much exercise one does. I am a 13 yearold girl and everyone says I'm skinny when I ask or they will just tell me and my stomach is skinny but my legs aren't as good as I would want them too. There not wicked muuscley. how can I get them thinner and have more muscles? I am self conscious in my suit bottoms so please help! :)

i want to know why i can't seem to lose weight! it's been a month already. i've controlled my portions, i've cut out sweets, sodas, etc. (i'm asian, so we mostly eat rice and noodles, but i've been watching my intake on that too), i do an hour of cardio/lift weights 6/7 days a week. i don't know what i seem to be doing wrong, i would think i would've lost at least like, 5lbs by now but i don't see any physical results! what am i doing wrong?

I think my friend is anorexic. She wasn't really that fat in the first place but she's lost a lot of weight. Don't get me wrong i'm happy for her but also worried too. She also never ate lunch at school which was really weird because everyone eats lunch! She even stayed after school everyday from 3:30-5:00. I don't want to hurt her feelings but I'm worried about her. What should I say or do?
