Are the Ivy leagues worth it?

I'm a senior in high school. Just finished my very last college application last week.
Most colleges I applied to were either Ivies or almost as (if not equally) selective / prestigious.
But I've been thinking. Schools like these tend to put enormous pressure on their students (does Cornell REALLY have the highest suicide rate or is that just myth?). Now, I KNOW my chances of getting into any Ivy are slim to none, so I probably shouldn't even be worrying about this, but.. is four years of stress really worth it? I mean, for the most part, a Bachelors from Harvard and a Bachelors from a state university only really differ in ... the name of the school. Yes, it can get you ahead in getting a job, but it won't KEE...

sims 2 is messed up.

ok, so i have sims 2 & a whole bunch of expansion packs. well, when i got another one, it like messed up the game, when i went to uninstall it, it didn't work. so i got angry after awhile, [because i couldn't find anything online to help me fix it.] & i just deleted everything. & now when i go and try to search for anything sims/ea games related, nothing comes up, so i figure its all off. well when i went to put up the first sims 2 game double deluxe, i got the where it asks for me to allow it, i click allow, but then nothing happens. -_-

This will be a bit long but please bare with me
My whole life I've been quiet, shy and anti social. I have only one friend and I've known her for 14 years we share a lot in common and I can be myself around her without her judging me. Okay, odd question I know. My friend lost her virginity the other week. She orgasmed and told me it felt amazing. She said she couldn't remember much because she "passed out from pleasure". I was mad at her for losing her virginity, she's only 16. She assured me she took all of the precausions, condom and the pill so I forgave her. I was interested when she was discribing what it felt like to experience an orgasm, but I promised my parents I would save myself until marriage. Hey. First off, let me say that i am 20 years old and he is 24. I have been on birth control for 2 years, but we always used a condom. I get tested for STD's once a year, and actually went in december, and im in the clear. So is my boyfriend, we have only been sexually active with each other. So yesterday my boyfriend came inside of me without using a condom, and about 10 minutes later it started to sting, and when i went to pee, it hurt to wipe. I researched this when he left, and on a lot of websites, it said i could be "allergic to the proteins in his semen". Well, to me, that seems like a load of crap (no offence). Does my friend value THINGS more than our friendship?

I have had this friend for 17 years. She is a shopaholic. she has also bought me gifts over the years. I recently took 4 peices of costume jewlrey she bought me years ago, and sold tem on ebay. I needed money and I had never worn these peices. Now she has demanded all of the things she bought me back and says that I don't deserve any of it. And has ended our friendship. Did I really do something so bad? Does she value these things more than our friendship? What should I do?

my boyfriend and i have never had sex, but we're completely in love and we want to. im 16 and hes 17 and we've done everything else besides sex (handjob, blowjob, eat out, fingered) and, i dont think this is the case, but my boyfriend thinks i might be pregnant because a few times he has come right around my vagina, and its come very close and i never worried about how close we were when he came because i never thought it was an issue. the last time i got my period was around january 28th, and it is now march 3rd. he's the first guy i've ever done anything with if that helps, but could someone maybe help me what should i do? should i have sex with him soon? or should i wait and see if i get my period/ or take a pregnancy test or something? thank you so much!

Okay so my ex boyfriend and I had dated over a year and he ended up breaking up with me multiple times, each time coming back to me... I'm a junior in high school and this year I am taking two AP courses. :(
I'm tired all the time and don't have much time for anything but school.
And one of the courses (US History) is so hard that most of the time lately I just give up and won't do the homework. I'll just sit in my room and cry. I've been in the course since September obviously, and I slipped a little back in November but only down to a C-, and I managed to get it up to a C+.
But now this time I've dug myself into such a deep hole that I don't know how I'm ever going to crawl out of it.
The AP exam is in May, it's March. I'm currently failing the course. I seriously have like a 48%.

I befriended a new girl at my school and have regretted it ever since. At first she was kind of shy and seemed nice, and I didn't listen to my friends who warned me that she would get annoying at one point or another. Now, its come to the point that I dread every second I have to be near her! I have gym with her, whenever I try to go talk to my other friends she literally grabs my arm and DRAGS me away! I think my friend is bi. She has had boyfriends in the past but I feel like she is kinda interested in me. It's weird, we hang out on weekends with other girls and she's fine but in school, it's me me me. I feel her looking at me when I look somewhere else and she texts me ALL THE TIME. Not even kidding. She was in school taking a chemistry test and she texted me saying she couldn't figure out the answer. Like, seriously, your taking a test, why are you texting me? My best friend

Hi, 15, female. So, I have a best friend. He has been that since 3rd grade. Although we don't hang out outside of school I still consider him my best friend because no matter what he is ALWAYS there for me. Everybody at my school says he likes me, they see it in his eyes, that he looks at me so differently from the other girls. They say when we talk he smiles the whole time. I'm not sure if you guys are aware of the rubber bands in the different shapes of animals and such but I texted him one day and told him how cool they were and how much I liked them, that if he asks he can have one and he wasn't in the best mood (fight with his brother) that night so he was being snarky and saying things like "I bet they aren't even that cool"...

Fractured ankle

Hi there.
So I have fractured my ankle and have my foot in a really big ugly boot for the next 3 weeks before surgery.
I can walk and do everything normal in the boot, however I can't run!
I was wondering, what are some kind of exercises that I could do to keep me fit in the mean time. I've gone from exercising from 3-4 times a week to nothing and it's already been 4 weeks since I broke my ankle!
I just don't want to be really unfit for when I am able to play sport again!

Europe!

For starters I'm a 17 year old female and i'm going to Europe in June with my friends for our senior trip.
I'm trying to figure out what i should wear over there. Our trip consists of England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Greece and then a cruise around the Pompeii island.
I know that i'm going to want to wear comfortable clothes because of all the walking around i'm going to be doing, but do you have any specific ideas of what i should wear?
I just bought a cute sundress and jean jacket from american eagle, but i have no idea what else to buy and what kind of shoes to get either!

Hello! Here's the introduction: 17 (almost 18)/female and my boyfriend is the same... except male...
So, we have a real problem. With lots of little problems interspersed. My boyfriend and I have been together for just under a year and we believe we truly are in love. We have a very stable relationship and have tons of fun. However, as it is being in most relationships, we want to have sex. We've had sex twice before and it was AMAZING! Better than either of us expected, lol... but now... Now we can never ever seem to find the time/privacy to do it. There are so many problems that prevent us from doing it!
