I have had nothing but mental blocks and when I first had to do kick doubles I was so scared. What you need to do is practice pulling your twist really hard and tight. Do this on a tramp, with a stunt group (do a super fast single), and I do them on my bed. Squeeze and ride it as much as you can and then spot and pull. Pull with your arms and your shoulders. And pull with your arms by your side. GOOD LUCK! They are really fun by the way when you do it. Trust your bases and just have fun. Thats what the sports about.

Obviously you have the talent, or your coach wouldn't have asked you to do this. It's all in your head. Mental blocks are usually the hardest obstacle to get over, but once you do you will feel so accomplished.

Practice on a trampoline over and over again. Then watch some girls that do this particular stunt on your squad, and ask them for tips. Get on youtube, and watch it over and over again. Always practice with a mat and trust your bases!

Just do it. That's really the best way.

Here are some youtube links to watch also. The more you watch them, the more you will realize you can do it too!

Here is one of a girl doing 5 twists!

And here is just a kick double.

Well your going to have to practice it a few times to get the fear out of your head so i suggest asking your coach if you two can meet afterschool and just practice that so you wont be so scared anymore of get a few girls to come to your house or go to the gym and practice it a few times that will make it easier on you. Good Luck :D
