Okay so i am a flyer on my competitive cheer squad and my coach wants me to do a Kick-double. i have flown before but i am really scared of doubling!!! what do i do????

I am from north america (new jersey) (link)
I have had nothing but mental blocks and when I first had to do kick doubles I was so scared. What you need to do is practice pulling your twist really hard and tight. Do this on a tramp, with a stunt group (do a super fast single), and I do them on my bed. Squeeze and ride it as much as you can and then spot and pull. Pull with your arms and your shoulders. And pull with your arms by your side. GOOD LUCK! They are really fun by the way when you do it. Trust your bases and just have fun. Thats what the sports about.

I'm a cheerleader and this year I'm doing more advanced stunting. I'm a flyer which Is I go in the air. I am able to do a lib which is standing on one foot. I can also do a scorpian but have troble balancing. Any tips? on balancing. Also I need advice on flyin in a basket toss how do you do it!? An I need help on other things like an arabisk? ( idk how to spell it) and when you pull a scorpian how do you hold it and other stretching advice for making scorpians and heel stretches. How do you pull a heel stretch easily? also a tik tock, and a twist pop(AKA a full twist or full down) I can already do a twist but I need tips on how to stay tight in the air and how to get all the way aroun and in the cradle position. I need tips on all of this and how can you fly in a basket toss? (link)
I have been an all star flyer for 5 years now. For balancing what I did to help me was to spot something, hit your skill and hold it for at least a minute. I did this every chance I could get and it really payed off. Also if you have a safe place to stand on, do your skill on there. For example, I used to practice on my couch's arm. I just stood there, picked a point, hit the best scorp I could and held it. Over time your balance will improve a ton. Basket tosses are super fun. What you have to do is load in regular but with your toes in the middle of the "basket" and standing on your tip toes. When the back or whoever counts and they throw you, stand up as straight as you can for as long as you can with your arms all the way up. They also call this riding the basket. If you are hitting a trick then when you feel yourself slowing, hit your trick and snap back so you can cradle. The most important thing about flying is not to get scared and to always stay tight. This will ensure the hight, safety and prettyness of your toss. To learn an arabesque (IDK SP?) look up pictures of it. This is a great balancing technique that you can use to help stable yourself. You stand on one leg with your chest up and your arms out in T. Then lift your left leg (I assume you fly righty) straight out behind you and all the way up. Try to keep your chest up as much as possible. To pull a heel stretch what you have to do it either put your hand on the bottom of your heel and pull your leg straight up in front of you. You need flexibility for this trick. Make sure your leg is always in front of you. You can also kick up striaght and catch your heel at the top. A tik tok is when you switch legs on the way up in the stunt. You would start on your left leg, go up with your group and at the top switch and pull whatever trick you need. You can practice this on the floor. To stay tight in the air, you need a lot of practice. When you are hitting any tricks or are just in a prep, squeeze your butt hard. Like crazy hard. This will always make you super tight. Don't try to balance yourself and don't let your hip pop out. Keep your legs LOCKED out at all times and squeeze your legs and arms. Make sure your arms are in the correct position because they are your balance. In a trist cradle, you need to spot when your turning and keep your body tight. Try to stay in the same place and not drift anywhere. When your group pops you, go all the way up first and at the top do a fast spin with your arms pulling you around and float down. Put your arms by your side when you turn and then back to the cradle. The fast your spin and the higher you get, the easier it will be. If you pull hard then you will always get around. :) Hope I helped you! Good luck!
