Is BIRTH CONTROL worth the risk?

I am 18 years old, graduated highschool and am dating this guy i really like may love for about 5 months now. I have liked him and known him for two years btw.
anyway i have had many relationships; long relationships short relationships etc. but i never had sex because i didn't want to do it in highschool. But now i am thinking about having sex. I wanted to be on birth control just so i would be prepared. and used to taking the pill every day. It would hopefully shorten periods, maybe make my flat chest grow a little ;) and protect me from unwanted preg. but i am worried that i will get cancer from it.. is it really worth the risk? how big of a risk is it? I wasn't planning on having sex the first month or 2 after taking it ...

How can I get clear skin, quickly and easily?

My sink isn't bad at all compared to some people, but I do have a few pimples and I wish my skin was clearer. I feel like everyone stares at one of my zits when I talk to them. I'm 13 and a girl so it's cause of my age I get them but not all of my friends have pimples. How can I get clear skin, quickly and easily. Easy facials, soaps, creams, home concoctions. Anything! And I do wash my face with a special skin product but I guess it's not working! Please help :)

My period twice in the same month?

I'm a 13 year old girl, and I got my period (not for the first time) around june 12th and then from about June 29 to july 2nd. Then I got it the 21st of July and I still have it. Is it normal to get it twice in one month?
And tampons. I really dont know how to put them in. Does it hurt? Advice helps! Thanks :)

I've been wearing the same clothes since I was in middle school and I am now a senior in high school. I've always worn baggy sweatshirts, sweat pants, ugly sneakers or old boots. I also wear a lot of black. I basically scare people away and I actually had someone call me a bum. At first, I couldn't possibly care less, but now it's got me thinking that this must be the reason why I have a low self-esteem about my physical appearance. So I'm in the uk from usa and I took a trip to visit friends with friends. How do I deal with a break up, I dont know if hes forgotten me I dont want to forget him because our break u wasn't abotu soemthing bad but I always text him and he responds as if he doesn't want to talk to me and i really dont know what to do . And I am also loosing two of my closest friends one of them is named Jenny she didn't like my boyfriend and they had gotten in an arguement and put me in the middle. I really want to get a tattoo. I was thinking about getting one on the back of my shoulder, so where my shoulder blade would be. I really want something meaningful but I can't think of the perfect idea.
I want something with a saying or word. I love sayings that mean something.. here are some examples of what I like
-thats life
-stay strong
-no regrets
-life goes on
something along those lines.. I'm also fine with some designs like hearts and butterflies or stars.. but I would like there to be a saying too. The saying can be in english or another language is fine too- latin, italian, french, (just not spanish please).

i need sum advice i have a boyfriend of 7months and just recently in these past two months he has expressed huge ammonts of anger towards me. i dont know what is causing him to be this way and he tells me he dosnt know why he does it either.
examples of these things – he starts in a joke that i am cheating and from there he gets worse into it and starts making statements that i am screwing around at me job or if i go somewhere without him that i have been with another guy. he constatly tells me i am being “bitchy” and has that i have a atitutted and starts going off on me about how i am acting when i could just be sitting and not saying a word. during those moments i try so hard not to say anything to him. usually i end up in t...

Hair cut that will help me grow back after Trichotillomania problems

I am a 20 year old female. I have an oval face, but I'm overweight, so my face is actually between oval and round (definately more oval shaped though!) I used to suffer from Trichotillomania, but with a lot of hard work, I have stopped pulling. My hair is utterly damaged. Very thin on the left side. I want to cut my hair to a length that will allow healthy hair to emerge, but I'm super afraid of trying any kind of haircut above my ears. I usually get a bob cut, so I have thought about allowing my stylist to cut it shorter than usual. What are your thoughts? I do have dreams of having beautiful, long, healthy hair, but I know that this takes time.

I am in my 20s and have always had problems with anxiety, depression,
low self-esteem and eating disorders. I feel like I experienced sexual
abuse at such an early age that I have no memory of it. Sometimes I wonder
though if I'm just trying to find one specific reason for all of my issues
and sexual abuse seems to make sense but maybe I'm just crazy.
