(14/f) Everyone thinks I make all my boyfriends up because they don't go to our school.. I don't understand why they'd talk such crap about me behind my back or why one of my 'friends' doesn't even believe me.. it makes me feel like they think I'm not pretty or nice enough to get one and so I have to make one up! Someone please help me.. what should I say?

when you are around yuor frineds, you should call your boyfriend and let them talk to him, and on weekends you and your boyyfriend could go to the movies while all your friends are there. But you dont have to prove anythign to them, if they dont believe you thats their problem! But i hope this helped you.

Let your friends talk to your b/f. If for some reason they're still refusing to believe the obvious. It's alright, you know that you DO have a b/f and that they just won't accept the truth :o). (I've had this problem before. So, I know how it goes)

you could just give them your boyfriend(s)email adress or aol screen name so they can see for themselves or you could give them a picture of them another thing you could do is give them his home fone or cell fone number

I have had the same problem. My ex didn't go to my school, and he moved, and we broke up before most of my friends met him, so like nobody thinks he ever existed... I mean I guess when you look at it, it seems weird, but I mean what wierdo would make up someone?
But you'll just have to ignore it. NEVER explain... you enemies won't believe it, and your friends don't need it. If they need it, or don't believe it, they aren't true friends!

Do you think you could get a pic of him and show people. Or give people his e-mail or screen name so they can actually talk to him? If not, then just ignore them. That's what I had to do... it was hard when we broke up, because noone was that comforting because they didn't know him that well, and because they didn't believe I actually had a boyfriend. It sucked... next time I date someone I'm going to get tons of pictures and stuff!! But yeah... just screw them, if they don't believe you, they aren't worth your time!

Well, if they arent believing you as a friend, then they probably arent your real and true friends. Just sit down and talk them about it and if they dont listen, then just forget them. You know if you are lieing or not. Plus, you could have your boyfriend call them up and prove it to them, but if they are acting the way that they are, then they might think that you are just having one of your guy friends talk to them and say that he is your boyfriend. But just becuase your friends arent believing doesnt mean that you have to get caught up in it. Just do what you feel is right and try to find new friends that respect you and that are true friends to you so that you dont have through all of this drama. Maybe they are just suspicious since they dont meet people from other towns. To tell you the truth, it really doesnt matter what people think. As long as you know you have a boyfriend that loves you, it doesnt matter if other people believe you. Though, they should because you ARE friends and why would you make up a boyfriend? Ask them that and see what they say. They`re being selfish and you need to tell them that if they dont start believing you, theyre not really your friends. The good looks doesn't make the person because a girl could be the world's most beautiful person in the world, and have a rotten attidude, which would turn people off. If you know you're beautiful, then stick by that no matter what you're friends say because you can let that get you down. im sure alotta people go through this problem. in each and every school your always going to have your gossipers and what not. my best advice to you is just dont worry bout what they say. all that matters is that you know your not lieing, you know you have someone right for you. i used to be just like you, i mean i would worry about what people thought of me, and what people would say about me. let them think what they wanna think, you just stay true to your self and dont stoop to their level. as for your friends, id say the heck with them. if their not going to have trust in you and believe you, they're not your friends to begin with. so to sum this up, stay true to yourself and all that matters is you know that your not lieing, and thats all that matters. good luck with whatever you and i hope i helped. <33

The only way that I can see to really have them stop this nonsense is to have your boyfriend go meet them. Actions speak louder than words right? This way you have real proof that he's your boyfriend.

Well, just screw them. Honestly, if they cant belive you are they good friends? Just dont listen to them and if you have to prove it to them tell your boyfriend to talk to them or go out with him and intorduce him to them.
