xo_dream answered Wednesday August 25 2004, 1:05 am: Midol or just plain ibuprofin // tylenol // whatever you use. You could try a heating pad too. If nothing else works, you could go on birth control, and that should help a lot. [ xo_dream's advice column | Ask xo_dream A Question ]
snowwalker69 answered Sunday August 22 2004, 11:16 pm: Hye there. I have the same problem. I find that taking 2 extra strnth tylenol or advil will do the job, along with a heating pad on you lower back or abdomens for an hour or so. Just relaz throughout the painful part. Also, drink a lot of water throughout the month, and your period, and cut salt out of your diet. [ snowwalker69's advice column | Ask snowwalker69 A Question ]

xlostangelx answered Sunday August 22 2004, 2:07 am: leave a heating pad on your tummy where the pain is for how ever long it takez to get the pain to go down!! that ALWAYS works for me..actually, itz the ONLY thing that workz at all for me!! i love heating padz cuz the hot heat goes to just the right spots and makes the pain go bye-bye !!
for me it usually takez about 20 minutes for the pain to slow down while using a heating pad...i sometimes take a nap while its on my belly and its soo relaxing and helps bunches!!
OR...yu can always take ibruprofen or another medicine that takez crampz away such as Midol. those things work for some ppl also.
hope i helped!! hang in there!!
if you need any more help, dont be afraid to ask!!
my s/n for AIM is in my advice column, or you could just put it in my inbox!!

xmissybootsx answered Saturday August 21 2004, 11:28 pm: Midol, advil, heating pad.. mine were so bad that i'd pass out, and i went on the pill, and things have been great since.. if you tell your mom about how bad your cramps are, ask her if you can go on the pill for a month or two just to see if it works, she might let you do that, and you guys can go to your doctor and they'll tell you which brand would be best for your body. lovelyrita answered Saturday August 21 2004, 7:02 pm: If it's bad enough that it's interfering with your life (i.e. keeping you home from school) then you may want to consider birth control pills. For the time being, put your hands over your uterus and kinda vibrate them back and forth. A heating pad over your uterus or your lower back also helps. Also, there's a prescription medication called Ponstel that works very well. [ lovelyrita's advice column | Ask lovelyrita A Question ]
soljette answered Saturday August 21 2004, 6:52 pm: i used to always take motrin, but they never worked well enough to make the all the cramps go all away, so one day a friend gave me a "pamprin," and it worked pretty good. you can get that at a local drug store. another option is to get on birth control. talk to your mom about it. im sure if your cramps are that serious, then getting on birth control will be a good idea.
