seriously scary problem!
ok this is wicked embarassing but im a 14 year old boy and im not alot like my friends. i get scared wicked easily. i hate it! i hav panick attax wen im outside in the dark.after i saw the movie The Village(which sucked) i couldnt get those creatures out of my head and ive had a hard time sleeping ever since. wen me and my friend saw it i kept grabbing the arms on the seat(not his arms of course} and he kept asking me if i was feeling ok and he sed that my face was all white and harfly ever blinked. i just wanna no how i can stop being afraid so that wen i c a scary movie w/ a girl im not the one huddled up againstt her

i hate scary movies too. i saw the village a few weeks ago and i thought it was gonna scare the crap out of me. it wasnt that bad but i still huddled up next to the girl i was sitting next to. but anyways i hate scary movies so i gotta remember that duh someone hadtove made it. like a producton crew and that its not real. its not like its a true story. if it was then how would someone just coincidentally be able to tape it? thats at least what i think. if youre still freaked out about the village creatures then remember that even the movie said that they werent real. and plus even that one time that someone did dress up as the red thing (if you've seen angels in the outfield) the person dressing up was danny hemmerling the utility infielder (from angels in the outfield). when i couldnt go to sleep i just remembered that even though i was scared as hell that the person in the red costume was psyco and had a bloody mouth that it was only danny hemmerling. its weird but it works

hey there. well, a lot of girls find that a guy who is, well, in your case, extra sensitive to scary things, is attractive. And if your on a date, I don't think that the girl will be mad if you are uddled up to her ... maybe you'll be huddled up together. But some tips ... when your watching movies, keep telling yourself that it all fake ... all Hollywood. And personally, I don't like the dark either ... creeps me out ... that is a common phobia. don't worry about it... i get scared really easily w/ scary movies 2... if you know your gonna be scared, just don't watch them. as for a girl, i think she wont mind if cuddle up against her lmao... she's prolly just as scared, and shed be happy.

I think you should go see a doctor because it sounds like you have an anxiety disorder. There are medications that can be subscribed to you to help overcome your phobia! I hoped I helped!

dont watch scary movies,sleep with a nite light or a bathroom licht on w/ the door cracked open or if that dusnt help, u might need ta see a shrink...

i dk wut i think that a guy thats scared or has a flaw is always really cute. i dont think girls like guys that are perfect. i kno i dont cuz then ill b think that im not good enough. and ur friend should accept that he wont care if hez really ur friend. i dk i think a way you could try and not be scared is see like a scary movie a billion times... it might not be easy but its trying to over come ur fears. after see the movie tons of times then try and see one u havent seen and see if you get scared. if u do get scared then i think maybe b4 you go to the movies see the movie like at least 1 time b4 you go with ur friends and maybe the second time you wont be scared. hope i helped personally i think its cute. <3 xogiggles37xo.

Everyone has their own issues.Remember this, MOVIES are fake! it's either reanactment or juss fictional things, dat wuz put down from their imagination! but seriously, The Village blows! Well just keep going to scary movies and you might eventually get over them...thats what alot of claustorphobic, sorry cant spell, people do but in the mean time until you get over your fear a scary movie might not b the best dating movie for you try a comedy or something when your with a girl.

The only thing you can do is keep facing your fear. I suffer from agoraphobia and keep making myself to go out as im afraid of open spaces.
This has a big impact on me missing out on doing cool things with my mates.
Dont let your fear beat you. Eventually you will conquer your fear. Stick with it.

realize the unlikelyness of you experiencing this. try to find something scary and turn it into something thats funny. if that doesnt work, maybe you shouldnt see scary movies. but if you saw a scary movie with a girl, chances are they might think its cute...not all.

You might want to seek a little help there. Maybe its just a growing up thing, I don't know. The more movies you see the less scared most people get. You just seem a little over anxious which might be stemming from an anxiety disorder. Maybe you should pay a visit to your school counselor for some quick tips.

Some people just naturally scare easier than others,but dude,The Village sucked. I was falling asleep. Remind yourself that it's only a movie and that nobody really died/almost died/is really that cool/etc. Joaquin Phoenix will be in another movie,even though he died in Gladiator. Plus,remind yourself that when it's a scary movie,you'll never impress her if you're more afraid than her.
