When I try to let my fingernails grow out they always break and then they look really awful and uneven. I hate it. I am a cashier and I think that is part of the problem because they always seem to start breaking at work when I'm lifting lots of bags, cases of pepsi, or something around those lines. Is there any way I can strengthen my nails so that they don't break or have much less breakage? I want to have nice, long, beautiful nails but they always end up looking damaged. Is there something I can take, eat, or apply? (link)

But if you go to walmart, or a supercenter around your area, go to the vitamin section!
I always get the little kids dinosaurs, and it helps tremendously!

Okay, i've beeen in this situation a lot.
and it's really just a matter of trust.
Ask the girl/boy if they have.
Don't mention any names of people who have tolf you, because that just causes more trouble.
They'll probably say no though, lieing or not.
So, this is what i've always done.
Get a close friend, that you trust.
And ask them to do you a favor, and hangout with them a little.
Maybe bring your name up, and see what they say!

If you have a cell phone, and you have texting, get his number and just text him and say hello.
That'll lead to a converssation, trust me.
Or you can always use emal,msn,mypace. You name it, things should go your way.
Or, maybe write hima note asking him how he reallly feels.

so i have this best friend (let's call her sam). she has a boyfriend she's been going out with for like TWO years almost, and she's always been totally obsesed with him. but the guy (jake?) is a complete PLAYER. i mean, it is SOO obvious he's not that into sam, because he always makes excuses to cancel their dates at the last minute, and the earliest they always see each other on the weekends is like, one o clock. in the morning. Once when I was getting a ride home, i saw him with another girl, walking from school, holding HANDS. ive told sam countless times that jake's definitely two-timing her, or three- or four-timing her, for all i know, but she won't ever LISTEN. and what hurts me is that she always accuses me of being JEALOUS of her for having such a hot boyfriend. is she completely clueless or what??? and what hurts me even MORE is that she always cries every time jake ditches her. then the next day, she's calling him, e-mailing him, giving him gifts, completely SPOILING him. i am getting so annoyed with sam, i'm thinking of not being friends with her anymore. i used to really really like her, but now she's just a guy-obsessed bitch!
do you think what i'm doing is right? what should i do?

Alright, this is a tough one, no doubt about it.Anyways, I see where you're comming from. & Sorry about that. But you need to have a one on one talk with her, and explain to her that you care for her, and you don't want to see her hurt. If this doesn't work, or if this hasn't worked in the passed, and she doesn't want to listen to you. Try to take a picture orvideo on your cell phone or something, that way she has no choiceBUT to believe you. & If you don't like that idea, and she won't believe you. Try to get other people to tell her what Jake is doing to her. More close friends of hers, family and such.

They're going to change colors every monthly visit!
I always loved yellow, and pink.

I play volleyball for my school, and I like it, but I wouldn't say it's my LIFE. I mean, I know it won't be my career or anything, I'm mainly just doing it as a hobby and because it's a good way to make friends. Well, my coach is kind of...religious. Not "kind of" actually, like REALLY religious. I don't normally cuss or anything but she won't let us use any swear words or substitutes for swear words (dang, darn, shoot, etc.) She also is completely against us having boyfriends. On of my friends who was on the team gave her boyfriend a little kiss and my coach saw, and my friend got kicked off. She doesn't allow piercings or tattoos. We can't wear certain things to school even if they aren't against the dress code of our school. Basically, she's just REALLY strict. I mean, I understand that we have to represent our school and stuff and she is a REALLY great coach. Like, the best I've ever had. But I don't really like that some of her rules involve my personal life... For example, I've been thinking about getting a belly button piercing. I've wanted one for a long time, and my mom would let me because she thinks they're cute. But if my coach saw she would totally kick me off :( I've been thinking about quitting lately... I love playing and all my team mates, but it just puts limits on my personal life. I just don't like having to always think "Is this going to get me kicked off?". Well, thanks for reading. I had this same problem pretty much.
just let your coach know that you really like her, she's great and all.
but she doesn't need to be making things that interfere with your personal life.
and asks them to talk to her for you.

I had never heard of Kirby vacuum cleaners until the other night when a couple of Kirby salesmen came to my door asking if I wanted to have my carpets cleaned for free.
I won't go into the details about Kirby's sales techniques, which I do find unappealing, but I'm curious if anybody out there has bought a Kirby vacuum and if you think it's worth the price.
I can tell you that they were asking more than $1,800 for the newest model (the Sentria). The lowest they would go was $1180. I never knew vacuums could cost so much so I figured that these Kirby vacuum cleaners must be something you would use practically forever! And I ended up passing on the offer -- even though the vacuum was quite impressive itself.
Anyone have experiences with Kirby vacuum cleaners? Are they worth the money in your opinion? (link)

it's great, a little complicated, and it'll take some learning and a few weeks to get used to it, but the price is so worth it!

I'm 13 and I never played a guitar before, and I'm planning to start having lessons now, but the problem is I can't decide if I should learn acoustic guitar or electric guitar. Money is not really a problem, but hopefully not too expensive.
Can anyone tell me more about acoustic guitar and electric guitar? Like how long do I have to learn it for, or the difficulty of it. (link)

everyone learns at a different speed.
I play bass, electric. and acoustic.
Electric was simpler forme.
and personally, even though the acoustic is more difficult for me, it's my favorite and i totally think you should learn!
but to be honest, i'd start off witha cheap beginer guitar.
This way money won't go to waste if its to complicated for you.

Well first of all, If you don't like the person you're dating, you should not be dating him for the hell of it anyways. It leads to heatbreaks, and just bad things, so rather that other guys likes you or not, you should end it with your current guy.
And about that other dude, find out if he likes you, if so, gofor it.

Okay, my opinion, i love to hold hands:)
and the arm around her thing, if you're going to do that, which is okay if you guys are in the right seating, and comfortable and things, put your arm over her shoulder, not her waist, because sometimes it can bbe a bit uncomfortable.
oh and the kiss things, you're seventeen, and usually people do kiss on first dates at aobut that age.
Uh, i guess don't force her into anything, but if she wants its, GO FOR IT:)

i'm a lifeguard. there's this girl i work with [let's call her M], and she and i have really hit it off. what she doesn't know is that i have a girlfriend.
i find that i flirt a lot; not on purpose, but i do. especially if the girl a. is gorgeous and
b. likes the same music as me.
i find it hard to resist. i'm good looking [and walking around all day without a shirt on just boosts my ego], and i find it to be a huge ego boost when it's obvious that girls are looking at me, and even more when i know that they're flirting back.
what's happening to me now is the same thing that happened last summer: i have a girlfriend, but i find it increasingly difficult to resist the temptation to leave her and go have some fun all summer. the hardest part is that she's leaving for france in a week and will be gone for three weeks. let me get this straight: i would never cheat; but i don't know what to do. i want to go and have fun and meet a bunch of new people; what i don't want to do is hurt anyone.
i'm scared. i think i'm going to fall into the temptation to cheat if i don't do something about this; but once again, i don't know what to do. i think i love my girlfriend, but at the same time i want to go hang out with M.....
any help would be greatly appreciated.

obsessions- Non stop callings. Pictures eeverywhere. Always following you. Trying to be with you mor ethan enough. TOO protective. etc.
Abusivie- physically? hitting, throwing things, etc.
controlling- telling you what to do, and where to be when. acting like your parents basically.

I had dated this boy named Evan for about 1 year and something. Our relationship was great, no complaints here. We were in love. The reason we broke up was because he was moving away to college and we didn't want each other to get in the way of our studies and our college life. Well after 6 months of crying and heartache for me I finally got over him and moved on. So I met this other guy named Ray. Ray is such a sweetheart and a great guy. We've been dating for three months and I'm really happy with him. In the beginning of my relationship with Ray, Evan told me how he misses me and he's still in love with me. Obviously I was annoyed because he had his chance for about 6 months after our breakup. But I turned him down. So now three months later, I keep have dreams of being with Evan, even though I'm perfectly happy with Ray. Evan's a great guy I admit but I've moved on. Or so I think. But when I keep having these dreams it makes me think otherwise. Have I really moved on?
I'm not one to base my emotions on dreams but, they are really bothering me and I just had the third one last night. Any help on what this all means? (link)

Dreams come from your self-concious, and things you've seen on TV, real life, things you may have been reading, and such like that. It's probably that you've moved on, but your pass is just coming along as life goes. It's probably nothing, if you are really convinced that you're happy with Ray. Maybe it's just a sign of saying that Evan has been thinking about you. who knows?
I know this wasn't very helpful. But i'm trying ha, I've had a problem similar.
Try spending more time with Ray, and less time thinking about Evan, it should helpp.

Uhm for people things can definitely work out. Depends on really how much your into the relationship, and how much effort you're actually going to put into it. I'm not saying it's going to be easy, cause its not. but it will nbe chasing ghost in a way, it always is.

Okay so i've had my iphone since november, and
