My 9th grade math teacher is so sweet! I am in 10th grade now, and my teacher for Geometry is not a good teacher, so I go to my 9th grade teacher for help! and last year she helped so much, and this year she is helping a lot too! I want to get a picture frame, and on the outside put a wooden ruler and a wooden protractor and a crayon and a pencil. She is from Texas, and proud, so I want to add something from that, but I dont know what. For the picture inside of the frame, she nominated me for student of the month in 9th grade and I won, so I will use the picture of us from that. I am also going to give her some candy and her all-time-favorite soda, Diet-Coke! Anything else?

well i think maybe you should wait because well he is still your husband/wife right and i dont think it would be fair to your husband/wife b/c even thoguh they know you still love them they might just be a little depressed adn feel like maybe you dont care about them that much even though they are gone

Ok, my gramma has cancer and shes dying. We dont think she will make it until Christmas. I have a big family, and we are all very close, so it's a sad thing. But for some reason, i just dont feel sad. I feel guilty, it feels like i dont care. I know i do care, but i dont feel sad. It seems like everyone else is sad except me. Am i like a bad person? I have a question that may sound strange, but tis a genuine question. I live in the UK, and I know nobody who supports George Bush, or even has a good word to say about him. He is generally a figure of hate. But I don't want to be close-minded, I just want a reasonably intelligent answer from somebody as to why they voted for George Bush, because I cannot see any good points to the guy at all.

Ok I have a presentation to make tomorrow (7 minutes long min.) and whenever I go up in front of the class.. i get soo nervous that my voice starts to shake! it is so embarrasing! and the weird thing is i really don't care about being in front of the class.. but for some reason my voice shakes? can anyone help me with my problem?? well dont look at the people out watching you maybe you could try looking at a wall or pretend your talking to your friend for example find him/her in the crowd and pretend like no one else is there

I really need someones opinion cos i cant figure this out. me and my guyfriend talk more everyday and now we're pretty close and i know i like him more than a friend. But i dont know if he likes me that way. He makes fun of me a lot and says hes kidding when i get annoyed. and he doesnt make fun of other girls that hes friends with. and he stares at me ALL THE TIME. what should i do? It seems like he likes me sometimes but i dont want to do anything that would ruin our friendship especially if he doesn't really like me.

well if you do cheerleading thats fun and you dont have to run that much just like one lap and its not very far either but trust me kearning all that stuff is hard but sooo much fun you should try it out one day

a few times a week i'm sitting on the floor, get up the wrong way, fall back to the floor in extreme pain because i've somehow popped my knee out of place. I can't even move and i can't get up or fix it without having someone pick me up from the underarms up.
Is this normal?
Is there something screwy with my knee?
Shoudl I see a doctor?
How should I handle it if it happens at school?

ok well that sounds really painful and my friend has sort of the same problem and she went to a doctor and she is getting better at that kind of stuff now so i think you should go see a doctor to help prevent it happening a lot more

Firstly, I'm a freshman in college right now. Right before school ended this past year, a 20 yr old guy started leaving me messages on myspace. He's a US marine, and he was in Iraq at the time. He said he was from my hometown, and was feeling lonely, just wanted to get to know some new people from the area. So I messaged back and forth for a while. Then we started IMing each other. And right before I left for school, he started calling on the phone. He came home on leave the day I left for school. We had made plans to get together while he was home; he even agreed to drive an hour to see me at school. When it came time for him to come visit the first time, he said sry, I have something to do tomorrow, and since I"m representing the Marines, I wanna look and feel my best, so I"m not gonna come see you (he wouldn't have gotten home till like 2 am) - so that's totally acceptable. He called the next day saying he felt so bad, was I mad at him? don't be mad blahblahblah...but I was fine with that. The next weekend, he was supposed to come up again, it was the day before he was gonna be deployed to OKinawa. He was getting a hotel room with some buddies to party it up before he went back, and said I could join them. I said I really didn't feel comfortable going off campus to a hotel room with a bunch of guys I've really never met before. He said that was understandable, so he'd just come to my dorm and chill for a while, and then I could decide if I wanted to go offcampus with him or not. He said he would call when he got in the area. But he never called. As soon as he got to OKinawa, he called and said he was so sorry, he had flight problems, don't be mad at him, his life has been really stressful, and he can understand why I would be frustrated, but don't be mad at him. I told him I wasn't, and it was all good. He keeps leaving me messages on AIM at night while I"m sleeping (14 hr time difference) and he just called again a coupel nights ago, but other than that, I really haven't talked to him in over a month. He said he's coming home for Christmas (I will be home from school as well) and he wants to get together then. Should I give him the chance after he totally blew me off last time? He really seemed eager to meet me, both last time he was home, and talking about CHristmas, so I can't believe he just didn't feel like it. My mom says maybe he got scared, but I can't imagine what he would have to be scared of...? PLease help, thanks

i think maybe you should give him a chance to get to know you he is always traveling and doesnt have time to really talk to people and his life has to be stressful and maybe he was scared i mean he probably has not had a friend thats a girl (not a girlfriend like dating or anything) so i think maybe you should meet up with him at Christmas it would mean a lot to him

My boyfriend's brother's funeral was today and after it was all over with he wanted to go to Astroworld (an amusment park). I thought it was totally unappropriate because I thought he should have been with his family. But, I went anyways, for him. His brother had committed suicide and my bf never had any room in his life for suicide. Still though, it was his brother, ya know? Do you guys think that it was weird that he wanted to go there after his brother's funeral? (link)

DON'T charge anything i babysay with my friends and they asked how much we charged and we said anything so when we were done they gave us ten dollars each for just one kid and it was our first time so just let the parents decide how much to give you!!

A guy that I'm friends and I know had feelings for me (but is shy) has been acting really strange around me.
For example, when he is alone with me he is sweet, attentive, kind, and likes to tease me. However, he acts totally different around his guy friends. We (me and another friend) planned a suprise birtday party for him. When he showed up at the restaurant he told me to sit a couple of tables down from him and his best friend. They got him some gross gifts from the porn shop and I think he was embarrased. Whenever I tried talking to him he couldnt look me in the eye, and when he did talk to me he wouldnt look me in the face. Do you think he was embarrassed of his friends and he was trying to protect me from being hurt? Or is there another reason for his behavior? (link)

sometimes guys are just like that when they are alone with you they can be really fun and sweet but when they are around their friends they don't want you to be made fun of and they don't want to be made fun of either

What are some good exercises to do in the winter? I know like in warmer seasons you can go outside and play sports and stuff, but when its cold out being outside is not very enjoyable. But I need to keep my work-out going but I'm not one to do crunches or anything more stuff that is fun to do and burns calories. What are some options/activities? (link)

well i play tennis indoors during the winter i mean its such a great sport so you are contstantly running around and losing weight its a great way to stay fit

I was wondering what everyones take on college is? I think I'm going to look for an all girls college. Are there many around? Does anyone know of any good ones? If there are boys around I will get distracted and won't do my work. I can wait for a boy, I dont need one when I'm in college. I want to get great grades and do all my work constantly.
Also, do you think this will effect how I view my college experience? Part of the actual experience is dorm life, parties, etc. Do you think I will regret choosing an all girls school when I'm rolling in money because I stuck to my studies? (link)

I movewd to my town about a year and one half ago...the first year was pretty cool..always having fun.The summer of that year,i never saw any of my new friends...and the following beginngingyear (this year..) almost all my friends turned on me..andnot many people like me..im quiet when you dont really know me..im small and un-noticable..its like the people on this team dont care about me now,all of them are mean they pretend to be nice..my friend(i tihnk..) told me that some people dont like me cause she asked and she was sorry about it..im so sad that things turned out this way,most of the time i just get my work done and leave people alone..because im not sure whos real or not..i hang out with my other friends sometimes (from the town i lived in befor) and im really really sad..i just want to move back..but now that i've changed and im so quiet how will i be like there now? and my real question is,How can i tell if a friend is true,or just pretending to like me? ok..im the person who was talking about my crush being abused. well he just made out with a girl who just made out with a guy YESTERDAY!!! she has a rep for the BIGGEST SLORE in our school. well me and my friend (one of the girls whos a mutual friend) was like "im not going to give him any sympothy now about his dad because thats SO stupid and its BULL!!!!" i was like "yea good point.. i wont either!!"

I have a question about men. I want to have children some day but havent found the right guy yet. When I do find a guy that I like, what are some signs that could tell me whether or not he would make a good father?
Also, is it a bad sign if the man is already in his mid 40's and has never had any children? Is there still a chance he might want kids at that age? I am 26 and know a guy that is 45 and I think he likes me, but he has never had kids. (link)

well i think you should maybe find another guy younger closer to your age because when you have children think about how old he will be i mean that will be sorta old for someone having children so i hope my advice works

okay well i used to be best friends with this one girl for like ever. and then we stopped talking for a little bit because we were both really busy and she got all mad and said that i was mad at her and she could never trust me again. that was a few months ago and were still not friends. well i was wondering if i should write her (she blocked me and she lives in another state so i cant call her). because i am just wondering if shes okay and maybe we can patch this thing up. should i even bother?
