I have had a cat, Pumpkin for about 4 years. I am the only person he likes, and he still rarely lets me hold him. We had already had a Shih-tzu that the cat liked, even though the dog just ignored the cat. Last year, my shih-tzu died. We got an Irish Setter puppy, Shea over the summer and Pumpkin was very scared (Shea didnt even chase him. And Pumpkin running away now causes Shea to chase him). The problem is, its been about 5 months and Pumpkin is still very scared of Shea. Pumpkin stays in the basement or upstairs or outside untill he knows Shea is in his crate or outside. Whenever I try to get them to meet, Pumpkin scratches me and runs in the basement. I need Pumpkin to stop being so scared and stop running away so Shea won't chase him. What should I do? (link)

well maybe Pumpkin is afraid of Shea because she is so used to seeing the other dog around and maybe she got comfortable seeing that kind of breed that she felt safe around it and now she feels uncomfortable around the other dog because its so new. hopefully you understand what im trying to say here. if you dont, then i am truely sorry! lol hope this helped a little bit.

I am 15/male.
Its pretty much exactley what it sounds like. Im sick of disapointing my parents. I fail school. I dress so awkwardley that there embarresed to be seen with me. Im a complete total fuck up. I have anger issues. Im always fighting with my mom. I told her i didnt want to be a part of the family, and the look on her face KILLED me inside. They found out i smoke, and my mom didnt do anything except cry. becuase her mom died at like 30 from cancer. Im always getting in trouble with them. Oh and i like men. and i cant tell them that becuase i cant and i wont deissapoint them more. Im sad to say that the easiest way to get through this, is to kill myself. Im not really looking for advice. Im kind of just venting to anyone who cares. :(

ok look i know i dont know you and you dont really know me so just take my advice and PLEASE dont kill yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!no body is a complete screw up unless they absolutely give up on life. dont worry everbody fights with their mom. i know i do...well what did you expect her to do??? look at you and be like,"oh baby it's totally ok if you smoke." uh..no any mother would cry if she found out her 15 yrold son was smoking. and the fact that her mother died from cancer probably eats at her because she feels the same might happen to you. its so totally ok to be gay...i mean if you told them now while everything is going wrong, it might make things worse. so if i were you i would wait to tell them that later after everything has simered down a bit.and for the anger issues, try going to therapy or group counseling for anger management. well i know you didnt want advice in the first place but oh well...i gave it to you anyways. hopethis helps and maybe in the end everything will workout fine!

Well thts not entirely true...it honestly just depends on the people. Some people will find love at a young age where as other won't find it til they're really old. it really just depends on the people who r becoming a couple. Some people will say they love someone but what they don't realize is tht they rnt in love with tht person, they just love them. Hope this helped a little bit!

sooo after my last question, everyone told me i should take my chance with Jay, so i did. and we've been together for 3 days i think. and two days ago he said he loved me and cared about me more than anyone. my last bf said that, too. and he swore he would never hurt me. emotionally, i mean. and he still did. and i let him say he loves me and i believed him so i started loving him too and then it scarred me for life after he broke it off. now i dont know if i should trust Jay with my heart, or if the glue is still drying. well..........at your age(idk what it is, im guessing your a young person) you shouldnt really be looking for real true love because in mid/high school, it just isnt there. guys are still immature jerks and will do whatever and say whatever to get to a pretty girls heart. my advice to you, is just take it slowly and dont tell him you love him until you actually feel like you really do. honestly you dont know when someone i about to hurt you. its this unpleasant spontaneous action that happens to most of us. hope this helps!

if i were you i would just talk to him more and get to know him more before i started kissing this guy. get to know him for him and not the way other people would label him. guys are kind of like ice cream: you can never be to sure on what your favorite flavor is until you've tried them all!! lol hope this helps!

so i am able to apply eyeliner to the bottom very easily, but whenever i do the top, it ends up going more through the middle of my eyelid then across the lash line.

well what i do is pretty simple; mae sure its a really fine tip like maybe liquod eyeliner. but if you dont like liquid eyeliner its kewel. just make sure your liner has a thin tip and almost have to eyeeliner pencil go like exactly where your lashes are and then apply it all the way across. hope this works out ok 4 you!

all you ahve to do is keep looking and you'll find him. it might not be as easy as you think but he's out there somewhere looking for a girl just like you! so dont give you and go fin the right guy for yourself! and btw, your standards arent high at all. unless you're saying you dont want him to ever drink which is almost impossible for the male species to do. in this case maybe you should lower your standards just a little bit! hope this helps a bit

Ok well first find out who he likes so you don't make youself look like a complete idiot! And then tell him how you feel, liittle by little and maybe he'll feel the same about you. And if he does that would be great!!!! And if he doesn't well then at least he knows how you feel about him. And if or when you do write the note, tell him u understand if he doesn't like you the way you like him and you would be ok if you guys just stayed friends. Even if u don't want 2 stay friends. I've been with my boyfriend since Oct. 23rd 05'.

Honestly you should get your crap together put it in your car (if you have 1) and tell him its over when you see him at home and then leave! If he doesn't take you seriously still then try and be like super serious about it and make sure he gets the msg loud and clear! Even if you break his heart in half(and by the way you say it you don't really care). Hope this helps a bit!

Okay two best friends (ill try to keep this short)
Best friend one (Liz we'll call her): Liz is a controlling spoiled rotten selfish brat. She is so much fun to be around but puts me down in the process. Dont say find someone new because everytime I've tried I always go back to her no matter how many times I've gotten stepped on in the past. Its something that I cannot help and I dont know what to do
Best friend two (Kim well call her): Kim is smart and nice. She plays soccer with us and we get along. Sometimes she is too into her boyfriend but that isnt even half it. She gets everything too, but by this i mean recognition... we both got nominated for an honors society... I take much harder classes and do more community service and yet she gets in and im rejected. We both play soccer and she gets all the awards and accelades when I know I am equal or better than her (people have literally come up and said that I am and that it isnt fair).. I know we arent competing but how does she get everything.

The difference is pretty simple: when you love someone you basically just care about them. When your in love with someone you do more than just care about them, you really feel something special and you always want to be with them and always want to talk to them and you can never get them off your mind. But then if you can't get someone out of your mind, then maybe they're supposed to be there! Hope this helped!

Well what you could do is completely change your eating habits and try eatting specila k berries(really works!) and then only eat veggies and fruit and salads and sandwiches for lunch and dinner! Its really healthy and makes you feel like you have lots of energy! And encourage yourself to go through with a diet and don't give up! Oh and only treat yourself to dessert on fridays!(or on the weekends. Your choice!) hope this helps!!!

My bgf told me he loves me and i think i may love him too. We most likely are going to be starting a serious relationship soon, well as soon as im ready. who knows how long that will be lol! but i know he wants a relationship and really cares about me. like i said he just told me he loves me. anyways i knew moving was a possibility but now its a pretty good chance meaning most likely. if you get what i mean. tho my parents are (of course) all like well you never know we might stay blah, blah. i know that we basically will with a small chance of actually staying. honestly if i were you......i would tell him about it without even thinking about it! well i would think about it in the sense of how to tell him. lol. dont wait til the last minute cause that will just put him in major shock mode! and you dont want that. and besides maybe if you tell him now, he'll make a move and you guys could be together for the time that your still here and who knows? maybe you guys can have a long-distance relationship! or you could end up staying there and your relationship could be almost perfect!

my volleyball coach has been telling me that I need to step out of my bubble and be louder. she says that she needs to be able to hear me 1 court down. If it helps, i'm a quiet person and not like the loud and excited girls. I am sort of shy but I have some friends. My question is how can I be louder?? i know what its like to be in your shoes! lol. i myself am a very queit person. ive been that way for as long as i can remeber. but then in the 6th grade i became a cheerleader (a sport that requires you to be extra loud!) and that got me out of my shell! (or in your case bubble!) ever since i became a cheeleader ive only gotten louder and louder each year! the whole practicing is a good idea but you cant tell if your loud unless you have someone with you to tell you that your loud. so wat if you practiced at school with all your friends? have one of your friedns walk far away with one friend, have you stay in place with another friend and then yell after your friend from where you stand. and if you dont want to loose your voice, then use your diaphragm!!!!

Well how can you tell if a guy likes you?
Because there is this guy and i don't like him because we're pretty much best friends. But i think he likes me cuz he's always saying "do you like anyone?" and then i say idk except i do like a guy. Yeah but theres one problem, the guy i like doesnt like me. Or at least i think? I told him i like him and he didnt really answer he was like like oh. So i dont know if he is embaressed to say something, because i think he's just shy if we see eachother in the hall he looks away. Anyyway, I'm not sure if the guy who i THINK likes me, knows that i dont like him. well first off, i wouldnt have told that guy i liked him unless i knew for a fat that he liked me back and something definately as going to happen between us two. if i were you i would tell your friend that you like him as a friend or instead of telling him you can show him in way by like pointing out things that i say i only like you as a friend. well let me start over. you know a guy likes you when he does things for you, tells you his secrets that nobody else knows, you can tell a guy likes you when he feels comfortable around you, when he says your name a hundred times a day without realizing it, and when you can tell he truely cares about your feelings and how something might affect you. you an tell that he likes you if you can talk to him about guys and he will give you his honest opinion about them without felling gay! from the way you describe it, it could be 2 things: either he is just curious about what guys you like or maybe he realy does like you. if i were you i wouldn't tell him that you like another guy because not only would that make him feel like poo, but it would be something that would change the way he acts around you if he does like you. well maybe you can give him a try even if you dont really like him, or give it a little more time and see if you start felling feelings for him and you 2 can give it a try. and if it doesnt work out you 2 would probably think that it was best if you just stayed friends and were friends and you guys could act like you never went out.
