Well how can you tell if a guy likes you?
Because there is this guy and i don't like him because we're pretty much best friends. But i think he likes me cuz he's always saying "do you like anyone?" and then i say idk except i do like a guy. Yeah but theres one problem, the guy i like doesnt like me. Or at least i think? I told him i like him and he didnt really answer he was like like oh. So i dont know if he is embaressed to say something, because i think he's just shy if we see eachother in the hall he looks away. Anyyway, I'm not sure if the guy who i THINK likes me, knows that i dont like him. And i dont know if i should tell him i like someone else and make him feel bad, or if i should just not saying anything because we're better off friends. Honestly, I dont think i would ever like him more than a friend because its just awkward. Yeah i know i asked a lot of questions, Can you please try to answer all of them =) thank you. ( girls point of view and boys point of view would be helpful so write if your a boy or a girl )

well first off, i wouldnt have told that guy i liked him unless i knew for a fat that he liked me back and something definately as going to happen between us two. if i were you i would tell your friend that you like him as a friend or instead of telling him you can show him in way by like pointing out things that i say i only like you as a friend. well let me start over. you know a guy likes you when he does things for you, tells you his secrets that nobody else knows, you can tell a guy likes you when he feels comfortable around you, when he says your name a hundred times a day without realizing it, and when you can tell he truely cares about your feelings and how something might affect you. you an tell that he likes you if you can talk to him about guys and he will give you his honest opinion about them without felling gay! from the way you describe it, it could be 2 things: either he is just curious about what guys you like or maybe he realy does like you. if i were you i wouldn't tell him that you like another guy because not only would that make him feel like poo, but it would be something that would change the way he acts around you if he does like you. well maybe you can give him a try even if you dont really like him, or give it a little more time and see if you start felling feelings for him and you 2 can give it a try. and if it doesnt work out you 2 would probably think that it was best if you just stayed friends and were friends and you guys could act like you never went out.

i think that you should sit down with your friend and ask him if he likes you like a friend, or if he has deeper feelings. i had a lot of guy friends growing up, and some of them really wanted to be more. it took a while for them to get up the courage to tell me this. the problem is...i turned them down. i told them that i thought that we would be better off as friends and so they reluctantly agreed. after many years passed, i drifted away from these guys. now, even though i am in a wonderful relationship, i ofter still wonder if maybe i should have given my guy friends a chance. i mean, they were really sweet guys. i just didn't feel an attraction to them at the time. so, what i think you should do is this...ask your friend how he feels. it's the fastest way to find out. and, if he tells you that he would like to be more than friends...this will be your chance to tell him how you feel. if you aren't feeling the same vibe, you can just tell him that although you are flattered that he wants to become romantic with you, you just don't feel the same way, or you could go out on a limb, and tell that that ya'll can try it and see how it goes. you never know. but my biggest advice to you is this...don't let this go on any longer. if your friend really does want to be with you and you don't feel the same way, then you need to get it out in the open now. sure things might be weird for a little while, but at least the truth will be out on the table.
